@PopcornMonster I think you are referring to the pick scrape; if so: You angle the pick so the edge of it scrapes the top two strings (or just one string). Matt does this about 3-4 times really quickly, back and forth. Your left hand 'mutes' the strings so you only get the scraping sound. You can also just lightly mute the strings with your left hand, and you will get more harmonic tones coming through the pick scrape. Then at the end Matt just does a slide using the left hand, from high to low
