Dude, sweet hat, and your right, Michael Floyd was and still is a beast... Im sad too see him go but cant wait too see him in the nfl cause i know he will be amazing.
Floyd is a great Wide Reciever, no doubt about that but I can't help but to think that this up coming season will be a 7-5 if were lucky. A new head coach is always shaky business for the first couple of seasons. Unless of course Kelly is an instant miracle worker haha. Not trying to be negative, just trying to be real
@FireRescue096 That is very true with the transition of a new coach and learning his playbook and all. However I honestly feel we have the talent to do a lot better than we did last year. You know me, I always hope we go undefeated and win it all but with seeing all the changes Coach Kelly has made and how the atmosphere has changed at Notre Dame I can see us being a 9 or 10 win team. Yeah we no longer have Tate or Clausen, but we have guys to back them up continued.....
@bigseanpower10 Guys like Dayne Crist and Cierre Wood have the goods, they were both 5 star recruits and if coached properly they can be very dangerous. Yeah we lost Golden Tate to the NFL but we have a whole core of receivers to make up for him. Floyd, Shaq Evans, Deion Walker, freshman TJ Jones, and adding Theo Riddick in there might shake things up. Plus in addition we also have our TE's Kyle Rudolph and Mike Ragone in there. I think we will be fine
as much as i hate to say it, IMO michael floyd is the best wide receiver in the country.. the guy catches everything. he may not have BLAZING speed, but the guy catches everything that touches his hands. if he stays healthy, ND's offense could be deadly once again.
@cousins851 I agree and I hope he stays healthy. You know since you're complimenting our players I should compliment one of yours. Now I know I fucked up last year with that "you know what" situation but I admit I was impressed with Dell and Cunningham and how "too" exciting they made that game last year. I admit when Cunningham caught that 3rd down pass on the rebound near the end, my whole body was just shaking. I was that nervous man. Holy shit!
Yeah. I was nervous too, i thought we would at leat tie it up. Im not as much impressed with Dell as i am Cunningham. Dell has injury issues. It seems he only plays every other game. But his best game was against ND last year. This years game is at 8:00 pm. Is college gameday going to EL for that day? i hope so, i dont remember them ever being in EL for a game. I haven't hear anything about it yet so i was wondering if you knew. I hope its the game of the week.
@cousins851 I have no clue whatsoever, I always thought they released a schedule but things always change with them. I remember when I went to the ND/Michigan game in 2004, Gameday was scheduled to be there in South Bend but they ended up going to Virginia Tech I think. They switched because we got upset by BYU the week before
Seam ,this are some sic clips. I agree that he will be a huge factor in 2010, but what if by some chance (God Forbid) he was injured...like Darren Evans for Virginia Tech, how do you think the season would go without Michael Floyd?
@XxBRONCOZxX He got hurt last season against Michigan State, broke his collar bone. He was expected to miss the rest of the season but came back after 4 games and there was a bye week in there too. He still managed about 800 yards and 7 touchdowns, not bad for the limited action he saw. The guy is tough and if he can be careful and avoid injury...look out!
@bigseanpower10 Yea, I believe that he is the next Michael Crabtree, he has all the right attribute for a great WR. Speed, Atheticism, Agility, some of the best hands I've seen, in all those clips, its seems that at long as he could throw it in the direction of Floyd, he was making the catch...Best of Luck This Season Sean, and I'm looking forward to the VT vs. Boise State Game, as you know I"m a die-hard Hokie Fan, any thoughts on that game Sean?
@XxBRONCOZxX I think its going to be a shoot out, Boise State has made some great strides in the last few years and Virginia Tech is well, Virginia Tech enough said. They almost always have solid teams year in and year out. I can't predict a winner just yet but I'll get back to you on that
@bigseanpower10 ight man, sounds good. You're right....but I really think that Virginia Tech is gonna turn some heads this year...as for Notre Dame, this could be a year of excellence for them.
