Having employees is not a right either! If there is not a fair exchange, then the company will have no employees (and many shouldn't). That is why I agreed with unions, it helps reduce abuse by the business.
As one poster replied, having a job is not a right. Companies don't exist to provide substanance to anyone - they exist to make money. Greed and coveting what others have is what business is all about. Its naive to think companies care anything about people - they don't. If you want that, build a socialist state where businesses exist for the benefit of society, not the other way around. Call me cynical, but it seems this is just the way it is.
That's pretty damn hillarious, but considering that I've been laid off since Early November, 2008 (Yeah, over a year and how noodles only taste good for about 10 minutes) then QUIT GIVING THE MORONS IDEAS (they don't get the irony!!!).
When you think about it, you're going to lose the job any way, one way or another (layoff, quitting, company shutdown, death) so you might as well focus on what's more important besides a job, like your health and family. A job may not be a right but it's not worth your life either.
@DEMCAD Yes, I am serious. Having a job at times can actually have an impact on your health and family, too, and not necessarily in a good way. I know. At the end of the day, a job is just a temporary solution to a lifelong issue or problem and I am glad that there are other ways to make money and get income. I feel for those that base their sense of self worth and life on having a job as they are the ones that tend to take it the hardest when they are laid off or fired.
@CommentorX Have you ever heard of income investments? That's one way to make money and it's perfectly legitimate. You can also sell your recyclables among other things. If you have property, you can rent it out. Need I go on?
@CommentorX Seriously, try thinking out of the box. You don't need to become a scammer but there are ways to make money outside of a job that are perfectly legitimate.
@CommentorX For example, you could try INVENTING something that actually solves a common problem a lot of people have. That's a really good way to make some money, just make sure you get it patented or copyrighted.
@UL439 Have you invented something? I know of people who have invented something yet didn't have to work their asses 24/7. They were able to pick their own hours. Just making the point that there are other ways of making money outside of a typical job.
@DEMCAD I don't know about you but not having a job makes it easier for me to focus on what's really important to me like my family, friends, and health. The only reason why I would want a job anyway is so that I can pay off debts and get some applicable experience and money to put into my own business, personal interest, or perhaps an investment opportunity. Otherwise, I wouldn't work if I didn't have to. I'd gladly find other things to do.
As long as I am debt free and have money in the bank and my bills are paid, I don't really care about being laid off. Especially when it is just a job that I'm losing and not something more important like my life, that I am losing.
And you're an idiot if you think you can actually secure income and financial freedom just by working a job. And if finding a job is so hard for YOU to find then you are the dumbass since I don't have this problem. I can always find another job, not so sure YOU can though, dumbass.
If they have the right to hire you, they have the right to fire you. If they didnt, they would hire less people and it would increase the long run unemployment
at least you got a warning in the morning... my job pulled people in groups at the end of the day... Fuckin bastards... but im happy...im gettin unemployment and making almost as mush is i made when i was working....and i got a criegs list hustle...Fuck Hreman miller of Richmond va!!!!
Let me say this. The power to stop layoffs is in the companies. All they have to do is eat some loss for 1 year or 2. Not lose money just lose money increase from prior year. If each company does this the problem vanishes overnight.
But no.... "We want more each year else off with there heads!" The greedy consuming all the resource and unwilling to save the country are the terrorist. For it is them who choose to ruin the economy by not caring not sharing.
this video is so accurate. you have no idea how accurate it is, unless you went through all that like me.

The stockholders own the business. Those with jobs are lucky to be employed at all. A job is not a right.
