I know this is old but I read your comment until now. What you said about the Bible is so TRUE!! Lol this is the funniest fail anime i have watched to date. Animation was awful, and the bad guy was the funniest character I'd seen in forever. I found it hilarious how he raped hisoka, and called it a 'spell'. I've watched it like 5 times now, makes me laugh every single time. For some reason the series still doesn't strike me as very yaoi. I mean, yes, there is obviuosly something going on below the surface of many characters, but the series itself doesn't focus on that. I love this series so much, and I recommend it to whoever is willing to watch. Fantastic animeeeee <3 Tsuzuki, hoping that the manga will be picked up again.

Ah, that's true. But even then, I still don't pay attention to that aspect of the anime. I enjoy the manga more, however, as the anime stops off around book 8 (could be wrong, haven't read it in a while) The manga delves deeper into character relations and some plot development, while the anime cuts off after the Kyoto arc.
