The official mascots are mythical creatures except for Muk Muk who is just an official sidekick and the only one that exists.

Miga - a mix between a black bear and a killer whale. The aboriginals believed that orcas turned into black bears on land. But Miga got stuck inbetween.

Quatchi - Sasquatch living in northern BC

Sumi - hat of an orca, wings of a thunderbird, and feet of a bear (aboriginal myth).

Muk muk actually exists and he is a marmot. Endangered and found on Vancouver Island.
