@M26217 El CD entero "The Greatest" es una obra maestra; no se si lo has podido escuchar completo; pero se le puede medir al lado de cualquier cosa grabada por todas las artistas que mencionaste. La banda que la acompanya en ese CD es la banda del sello original Stax, gente que toco con Otis Redding, Al Green; o sea, no es cualquier grupito y ella no es cualquiera cantautora "indie alternativa norteamericana"; en mi opinion.

Il serait pas mal qu'on arrête de discuter sur la Nature de sa voix mais plutôt sur la qualité de son texte ou sur sa musique!!!!!. D'abord elle est Merveilleuse!!!!Elle est totalement habitée par son chant merveilleux (texte et musique). Quelle voix!!! Sublime interprétation à Austin où j'étais invité par des collègues à ce concert ACL. J'en suis revenu avec tous les titres coincés dans un coin de ma mémoire.... Je l'entends encore.

I think when she sings live she tries to give more than she can, that's for sure and maybe in an attempt to show off more, she oversings and sometimes it sounds weird, not to say faked. I wish she tried to modify that, because on the albums she sounds so heavenly. ♥

Oh man! When she saluted in time with the line about HONOR, that was so deep and effecting. The way she jostles her hips about like she's doing the twist when that sad "orchestra" is playing behind creates such a beautiful dissonance on stage. And when she bends her knees to harness all her voice, but tricks us because it doesn't change at all, what a fantastic performer.
