Before watching it, I always considered Jim Carrey as an OK comedian, and it made me realize that he actually is a very fine actor! Some scenes, when he plays this shy, casual guy are mind-blowing, nothing like any of the comedies he had done before. Kate Winslet is fantastic as well. In a nutshell, well directed, well played, it's a must-see!
