@gabrolaz is this a good motherboard? it has everything i need unlike the cheaper ones which dont have clearing cmos buttons ;) (is clearing cmos buttons better than using a jumper?) also, is this good like the IV formula or should i get the IV formula because of its turbo buttons and stuff?

@LFCforEver12341 The clear cmos button works perfectly, and this is just as good as the IV formula, only difference is that the IV has memory up to DDR3-2000 and the north bridge is the newer 890FX. Also another thing I liked about the 790FXTA-UD5 that most of the larger cpu fans fit well without having to overlap empty memory ports

msi 790fx-gd70 i have it and the gd70 is amazing kills the gd65 and as you just all the test the gd65 was just below it so the gd70 will rape any amd board personally i think its the best AMD board out i have and love it so go with it

? amd has a dual channel memory architecture... it can use (on most boards) up to 16gb with 4x 4gb ram modules.

Hexa/octo are currently useless unless you're running CAD programs.

You're not going to see any improvement for gaming over, say, a Core i7 or dual-core AMD processors.

Difference, all Gigabyte motherboards with the "A" designation after the socket are the new ones that support USB3 and SATA3.

So MA-790FXT-UD5 = NO, USB3 or Sata3

MA-790FXTA-UD5 = YES, USB3 and Sata3
