@patrickdarcy It takes years of practice to master a lot of techniques, you're right, an opponent will not stand there and let you do this shit but it is for demonstration. A demonstration is no good if you can't see the technique.
There are a lot of techniques which are a lot easier to execute than the ones presented, therefore these are the best choices both to study and do in real situations. We should always focus on techiniques that are easy, straightforward and real! Avoid the flashy ones at all costs!
Excellent video here! I would caution against the use of the gun in hitting the opponent in the face as demonstrated in the one technique. You never know about the slight chance of it going off. Just finish the guy off with face stomps. BTW, I went to SME and trained with JB for awhile, he was amazing even back in the early 70's. A scary guy for sure!!
The gun always goes off in any disarm situation,as I have done with my brother many times. Therefore the idea would be to always expect it and so the technique has to make adjustments for that. The rarity is when it doesn't go off & that's when the scenario changes & other adjustments have to be implemented.Training with sub-munitions and some form of armour either total or partial is a good training aproach after the technique has been learn thru a step method...I think!?..Heheh!!!
load of shit as he is not going to be standing there letting you do it................

2:34: And if that doesn't work, use the Jim Carrey method from In Living Color : "Luckily, I shifted my internal organs to avoid the knife!" lol

you must come from a dysfunctional family. your brother holds you at gunpoint and the gun always goes off when you disarm him?
