Little boy stands up to Michelle Bachman

I have many gay and bisexual friends... so I have nothing against them... but I know that this little boy had little to no idea what he was saying. Stupid mother put the poor kid up to it. He looks so scared and uncomfortable.

I think she got what she deserved. I am not gay myself, I support gay rights and I find it offensive that anyone would say that homosexuality is a disease. Science says its not. She says she opposes it because the bible says its wrong. Science disproved the bible to. That's why I'm a pagan.

I really don't like Michelle Bachman at all, but having you're little kid do this is pretty messed up. Would be better if the kid was a little older and said this because he believed it and knew what he was saying, not just saying what his mom made him say.

I was hoping that this video would be a little boy really telling her what's up. I'm disappointed that it's a kid being told what to say by his mom and then being made to do it despite being very uncomfortable. as a gay person who would like to be married and have kids in the future, I don't think it's right to use kids who don't really understand what they're doing as a means for standing up for your rights.I'm sure he has faced discrimination, but he was clearly uncomfortable here.

@gmoore10100 Sorry but I think you're wrong, I am double majoring is Psychology and Biology. Being gay is believed to be a product of a mental disorder called childhood gender nonconformity, where gene coding refuses to acknowledge its own sex genes and will express the recessive traits in its chromosomes, the other sex.If this is not "solved" very quickly(Parents forcing their sex on them) they will grow up with full expression of the other sex. Hope this clears some things up.

@irMaddDogg If you can point me to the specific gene that is mutated, then your argument will have credibility. Yes, being gay/bisexual is a deviation from the norm, but there is no conclusive evidence that pinpoints one factor as the sole "cause" of such sexual orientations. It's very likely that some gene complex has been altered, but until such a discovery is made, I'd hardly consider it "common science fact."

@irMaddDogg I'm 20 years old, a psychology major at one of the 25 best liberal arts / engineering colleges in the United States and I'm also gay. I certainly didn't dress up in woman's clothes and play Martha Stewart. It's a loose and potentially spurious correlation, not direct causation. If anything it supports the concept of genetically predetermined/predestined sexuality. I appreciate your helpful input, but it's fallacious at best.

@no1satthedisco Everything in human nature is determined by genes. It's how we construct ourselves, There is something believed to be "origin genes" which are everything that make a human human. Ever wonder how humans developed all around the world, yet are the same in form? One of these is the instinct to carry on life via sexual reproduction. Being gay is a mutation in this gene where the gene is duplicated and expresses co-dominance between this nature. Hope this cleared up what I said.
