Yes, kick-up dagger is very important, not only to just make hull fly, but also to make the boat sail against wind direction such as close-hauled sailing.

Nicely done, the music matches well ...

I wanted one of these at our sailing club, the kick-up dagger boards where the key selling point, they let you fly a hull in most conditions, yet if a novice hits something, they'll kick up and (hopefully) not break.

Unfortunately, the 580 is just too big for two women to handle, so we're getting a Nacra 500 Sport instead (w spinnaker), I only wish it had kick-up dagger boards!
