  • 1000 Watts? Yes 1000 Peak... But Only = 500 Watts Program = 250 Watts RMS

  • 1000W on paper.....

Poor sensitivity of JBL speakers is well known problem common problem of that brand, thats just low end visual attractive cheap speakers.

  • Notice: Advantages of the sealed bandpass enclosure:

The diaphragm does not come out too far.

The amp can better control the diaphragm stroke.

The low frequency spectrum is more straightforward.

    There is less distortion.

Now, you may drive with full 250W. As shown in the description.

  • I have two of these woofers in my car. You can drive this woofer with up to 250W RMS, if one installs him in a "sealed" bandpass enclosure. In all other housing types, he can never convert 250 W in sound pressure. without a blow. Read the description before you throw yourself around with 1000 watts.

He is great. In my car I reach 148dB. According dB Drag.

  • nah your still wrong, you can get loads of different ohm amps and subs, there not all 4 and 8 ohms.

  • dual voice coil wired up each to give 4 ohms per sub, 2 subs into a 2 channel 4 ohm amp.

if i wanted to i could wire the voice coils to give 2 ohms or 8 ohms.

    i know my shit :D

  • i know but i was aying if he wanted a amp for a 4ohm sub he needs a amp whats 4 ohms to drive them. cuz my amp for my 2 jbls is a 4ohm and the subs are, if i had to connet to my HIFI i had to bridge them to make out 4ohms not 8ohms
