ppl dont seem to understand that fraps reduces your fps while recording. kind of funny when you imagine ppl emptying their wallets into their PC when they dont know much about computers :( nice rig btw! im dropping in a 2nd 5850 into my rig tomorrow...but i thought crysis had good crossfire/sli support as i have seen many videos of others using similar setups.
@alfapapanovie Thats pretty sad considering thats a dual 5870. I exspected better. I was thinking about buying this laptop but now im not so sure. If thats the kind of performance you get with dual 5870's I might aswell get something much cheaper with just as good performance.Have you had any problems with your alienware.
@860125mwj the problem is that 5870 in crossfire crysis docent support crossfire so it lag bad so you has to disable crossfire and play with one 5870 but all other games run perfect and yes the mother Bord when out but alienware send a technician the next day and got it going if the technician guy can fix it they replace your system as long you have warranty if you buy one make sure to extend it it come with one year thanks for watching the video and good luck

I have one question though, how easy is it to change the procceser, graphics card etc. because if i find games i cant play i might have to do that and i have close to no computer experience (i just kinda know what would be good for a computer) so will i be able to do it?
@IAmVortex1@IAmVortex1 Ok if you want to change the processor and all that you should built your own because this alienwares are berry complicated because they have two motherboards one for the lights and the one for the pc the graphics card is easy to change and the aurora is so much better then the area 51 i have both is faster and like 20 pounds lighter and like $100 less any ways building your own is easy because a pc only has like 5 parts thanks for watching the video and good luck
How the hell can crysis lag on nowdays computers with sli and stuff and bad ass Quadcores!!?? when the game is from 2007 and only Require a tiny Dual core at 2.7Ghz and 2GB Ram and 8800GTS! so why the hell can this shitty game be so FPS eater!!!?? Hmmm
@AeroFix94 particle effects, 100s of millions of physics calculations per second (trees blowing in wind, shrubs ,etc etc. all of this contributes to the lack of 60 fps solid by now. (except for x2 HD5970 and an i7 930 @ 4ghz

Well, my single 5850 runs this faster.. With an i5 650, and 4 gigs of DDR3 RAM.
By the way, I run it at 1920x1080, 1080p on my 30 inch Philips HDTV..
Even if it doesn't support crossfire, this is still a very weak performance for a single 5870.
