  • Nice video, but it doesn't even show the worst of it. It is a sight me and my kids will remember forever. And thank god no one was hurt or killed. It was truly a miracle.

  • @DonsPromo It was called a downdraft microburst that developed as it crossed over the throgs neck and whitestone bridge coming south east into little neck and great neck.The gusts reached 96mph. I was in great neck plaza when it passed but I actually experienced a faster more torrential microburst in 1986 in elmhurst ny,it tore the roof off of the queens mall and those straight line winds reached 110!!!!!!!
