  • I'm japanese. and i think of this as a brilliant idea. next time i leave this god forsaken USA ill try this out in japan :D

  • @Slickbullet813 And why would you write in english?

  • @SirGecko01 Japanese people arent only confined in Japan. They are all over the world and English is the International language everyone understands. and sadly im America by nationality.

  • The art of trolling

  • At the end he tells us not to copy his idea. Too late, dude. Too late.

  • Some Japanese may be feeling bad.

  • rofl

  • lmfao 1:22 "even homosexuals..." i don't see how they are homo...but that was funny

  • Wow, simple ... brilliant ... and it really works!

  • What sorcery is this?

  • @GodGURken That's about what I was thinking. I felt like a meme watching this.

  • Does the name Pavlov ring a bell?

  • Nice trick. Try this behind a Metro bus stop at a red light or a police car.

  • I like it.

  • *cough* Pavlov's dog

  • i wish in my place bicycle bell works like tat...

  • klingelingeling

  • Wow those japanese people sure are disciplined, over here at my country u gotta rape the horn button to get people to move aside and if nothing works shout 'Move outta the way asshole!'

now I have another reason to love japanese people :)

  • Did he call them 'homosexual' @ 1:21

  • @4izm0v yup.

  • They are so disciplined!

  • 9GAG

  • Then again if you did that here in America, you'd be shot on sight (hence why we suck)

  • BRILLIANT! and Horrifying.

  • very smart

  • people in japan are very well educated. that's why they excel :)

  • technically, ringing a bike bell is illegal in japan. it is only allowed in case of emergency.

  • another proof that these people are robots.

  • My first thought is, this looks like a really simple way a mute person could communicate, "Excuse me, coming through." That's basically how it's being used. Yes, sight unseen, the people are shifting to the side - it's not purely out of politeness, I'm pretty sure they don't want to get clipped by a cyclist. A number of people look over their shoulders to see who's coming through, though - and after seeing a guy with a bike bell and camera, stay out of the way anyway (don't anger the crazy guy).

  • Japanese are polite!!

  • Wow people in Japan are so nice! :)

  • Biking up the escalator like a boss 1:38

  • @SirNodus Sort of like the opening credit sequence of "Police Squad!", where the camera is flashing a red light like it's a police car, even as it goes in through a revolving door....

I am surprised nobody turns around to say, "Hey, get off the sidewalk, it's not for...oh."

  • genius

  • Level :Asian

  • Wow...so many are so considerate. In the United States, you can ring a bicycle bell all day long and people just give you the finger...and that's on the bike path!

  • 1:20 wait for him to say homosexual XD

  • IMPOSSIBRUUUUUUUU!!!

  • you can so DO this in a VERY BUSY SHOPPING CENTRE / MALL :P

  • Hahaha

  • Why all Japanese videos on youtube have to be 240p?!?!?!

  • xDDDDD

  • On the last scene, I thought the house would step aside.

  • thankyou, actually it worked even on bus, in a huge crowd:D

  • XD even on the escalator :9

  • Maybe they were just thinking "We should get out of the way of that weirdo with a bell..."

  • Yokohama Fujitsu Mitsubishi Okinawa ??

  • @Ocgamer666 Aahh, I see Daniel-san, your japanese has improved greatly!!

  • pure genius, guinness approved!

  • With a single bell i can control the entire nation of Japan muahahaha.....no?

Well shit at least it's convenient.

  • daaaaaaashhh norimooooo ateissshnerionomassss heaiuheiaheiuahea

  • This man is a genius.

  • Hahahahahah very funny

  • like moses parting the ocean. o:

  • that's fucking awesome. seriously. that guy deserves to be rich

  • It is scary to see how programmed people can be. Even after some noticed it was just a dude ringing they still followed the protocol. Think about it, maybe its not just a ring of a bell that does that to you in life.

  • @deathspenalty Madness came from back and it escaped.

    A simple thing

  • @deathspenalty Not really. I would have thought I was walking too slow and let him pass, bike or not

  • @deathspenalty it's called "discipline" and"manner" that civilized countries would have.

Only some ignorants would see this as negative action.

  • @krirks I dont see the reaction as negative, i see the ease at wich the human brain can be manipulated and programmed scary. This was more or less a harmless prank. But the human brain works within certain rules. And you can abuse those rules to get to what you want. It can be subtle, like in shops. The way they are laid out is to sell as much as possible. To lead the customers in such a way that they will buy more than they would need. And no, its not manner to walk around ringing.

  • @deathspenalty what u see discipline and manner as "brain can be manipulated and programmed" is negative. If people want to live together peacefully it has to have rules. Otherwise we would like just barbarians and do whatever we want. What u gave the example about shops, that is psychology in marketing. Totally missing the point. And manner i mentioned was for people who moved when they heard the bell NOT the bell guy.Totally missing the point, again.

  • @krirks yes this shows that they have respect for one another.

  • @deathspenalty What were you expecting them to do, see it's just a dude ringing a bell and get back in front of him instead of letting him pass after they'd already gotten out of the way? That would be a pretty asshole move. They're programmed to get out of the bell's way as to not lose limbs to bikes and they're also not assholes. Stop seeing conspiracies everywhere.

  • That's actually a brilliant idea.

  • why I had not thought of?

  • BGM is an instrumental medley of Burt Bacharach's "Knowing When to Leave" and "Turkey Lurkey Time." Not that anybody cares... :P

  • Excellent idea!

  • This is happening just because these people don't want to have anything to do with a strange person with a bell - in Japan people ignore you if you are considered to be slightly dangerous or harmless, more or less.

  • man people are so much nicer and polite everywhere else x.x

  • Japan is my hero.

  • anybody knows what is writted on the ring ring? (sry for the english)

  • The Japanese mutual concessions are common sense.

    This act is not good.

  • BHAAAAAAH this is freakin awesome!! :D
