Easy set-up of HP Designjet 111 printer series

Do not buy the Designjet 111 with roll (CQ532A). You can not add paper trays to this model, even though there is a slot for the papertrays. HP says this is by design.

So, it is better to purchase the HP Designjet 111 with tray (CQ533A) and then add the Roll attachment. That way you can print from either the paper tray or the roll. The other model will only support the Roll attachment and nothing else. They do not state this clearly in their literature.

Glad you’re looking at the Designjet 111 Printer. It’s a great choice for affordably producing drawings, posters and presentations up to 24 in. wide, but does not print on all of the media you list. You might also consider the Designjet 510 for additional substrate versatility or the Designjet Z2100 for photo-quality output.

I would like to know from you if we can use HP 111 to print on canvas, vinil, glossy paper, couche paper and most medias available on the market.

How big (wide x length) is its real printable area??

Can you believe It costs around U$ 800 on ebay, but here in Brazil we have to pay U$ 2,200.00 ??? We are rich and I even didn't know it!!!!!!!

We have 2 versions of the Designjet 111 available in Brazil:

- HP Designjet 111 with roll (CQ532A)

- HP Designjet 111 with tray (CQ533A)

If you are looking for the complete solution, then it would make sense for you to buy the tray version and also the roll accessory (C7797A) .
