  • hey thanks a lot dude really helped me! ive been DYING to play my MGS backup!

  • can you boot import discs with this?

  • @EmulatedPleasure Oh yea, PS1 JPN games I do it all the time.

  • @gamedexterity cool, do all the sensors have to be blocked? or just the one you have to undo the screws to get to?

  • @EmulatedPleasure Yes, all the door sensors and life is good.

  • Viewers, if you dont want to purchase swap magic, you can just:

(Slim PS2)- Cover up the three sensors so it doesn't know you switched out the game

(Phat PS2)-Open up case of the console and actually lift up the disc and switch it.

I did that for my Phat, super simple.

  • @bleedingxxaurora I acknowledge your mod, and I had swap magic a long time ago so it was not that big of a deal for me to do the mod, but with your method, don't get me wrong, there is risk associated with it. It's not the super safe mod for your PS2, because you got to do the swap live, and over time, the motor can fail because of this. I've seen it happen to other people, so thats all I got to say on the subject. More power to you!

  • @gamedexterity That's definitely true, I probably should've mentioned to avoid putting too much pressure on it.

Anyways, thanks for the video and reply.

  • PSX was another video game console released by Sony in 2003. Only realesed in japan

  • @BLASR24 Oh my bad, I thought PSX was just another name for PS1. Now it makes more sense. xD

  • @BLASR24 PSX was a DVR set top box that was able to play PS2 games

  • I don't know what you mean of v9 and above

    my model no: SCPH-77003

    PAL

    SERIAL : FB7936108

    BARCODE: 20-27209161-7936108

PS2 SLIM can you help me out please? thanks again !

  • @E1SUNZ That model is fine. It should work as long as its a SLIM.

  • @gamedexterity ah ok thank you soo much dude!

  • can i use a different game copy or it have to be the same as the original?

  • @kenshin09mty You can use a different copy, I just used an example is all.

  • Awesome intro!

  • does copying files work that fast on all slims? my ps2 fat is not that quick.

  • @yoshi314 Yea its about the same for all, but fat ps2 is a little slower -Monoxide

  • How can you put stuff on the main menu of FMCB, to boot it right off there?

  • @Anthman46 I have a video on how to add programs to fmcb. Watch it.

  • can I dub or subtitle this video in spanish language?

  • @ikkixtrousen Sure, go ahead.

  • @Grilledfox No watch the other videos i used a cheat disk witch let me boot a file to mod my ps2

  • does the backup have to be the same as the original copy?

For instance could I put in twisted metal (original) and then put in fFnal Fantasy VII?

    Thanks!

  • Disregard previous comment. Obviously it is slim. At what point did you do the swap? PS1 logo when its on or when it turns black after the ps1? With your method, over time, its risky for the motor as you can stress it and burn it out. With the PSXLauncher method, at least it 100% stops it, and you do NOT want to look into that laser, it can damage your eyes. - Versatile

  • @Grilledfox That is half the mod. You need another mod to install fmcb, or play backed up games. Blocking 3 sensors is half the battle.

  • @Grilledfox Do you have any other better method? You need to install FMCB first. How you going to do that? Either you find a volunteer to help mod it for you, or you find a friend who has PS2 modding type tools and he does it for you. - Versatile

  • i never thought i'd say this to another man, but i seriously love you dude. awesome tutorials! i installed free mcboot with no problems, and the psxlauncher worked perfectly. subscriber+1

  • @ShamanKingNoble I get that every now and then man. What is surprising is for every person that gets this tutorial to work, there are like 5 others still scratching their heads..I mean, this tutorial should be simple! Unleash the power of your PS2 like god wanted you too. Have fun! - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity this is as easy as it gets tbh. i just softmodded my wii, and let me tell you.. that was a real pain. i feel like an expert at modding after that.

  • doesnt work. i have a 97001. is that ok?

  • @TheVGGP It is higher than a model 9, so yes. What is your method? - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity i did exactly what you did. i tried many other methods but it still doesnt work. maybe its just the game. i know how to burn games to, like burn the slow speed possible like 2x etc.

  • @TheVGGP 2X is too slow.

  • @gamedexterity well i did max. and verified it and it still doesnt work. maybe its just the game. Its megaman man legends if you want to try it yourself.

  • @TheVGGP I don't have that game, but I have like 40 other PSX games that work fine.

  • @gamedexterity can you downloaded it and test it out. its only like 499mb

  • @TheVGGP Ok, I'll look into it.

  • @gamedexterity i did exactly what you did. i tried many other methods but it still doesnt work with fat and slim. maybe its just the game. i know how to burn games to, like burn the slow speed possible like 2x etc.

  • @TheVGGP It doesn't make sense at all. PSXLauncher stops the retail PS1 disc, you swap, and life should be good. Do not burn at 2x, that is way too slow for psx backups. I burn mine at 24X! - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity well i dont burn a 2x i burn a 8x. they say to burn at the lowest possible because it can mess up if it burnes to fast. but idk =(

  • @TheVGGP I burnt at lowest one time, and it screwed up my game. Burn too slow and burn to fast hurts. You should go to psx-scene and ask their forums. Maybe someone knows why your PSX backups don't work. - Versatile

  • fuck.. I dont have a damn PS1 original game... they dont exist anymore over here..

  • Didn't Work for me :(

    SCPH 77001

  • @Dominator1212 I never had this issue with PSXlauncher. You using fmcb? - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity

    Yeah, V 1.8

  • @gamedexterity

    Yeah. V 1.8

  • @Dominator1212 : Explain exactly what you mean when it doesn't work? Is the 3 sensors blocked? Can you play games with the lid open? Have a retail PSX 1 game to trigger so it stops, then do the swap with the backup and launch it? Important to burn the PSX1 game at 24x on a CD-R that is GOOD quality. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity

I didn't write it on 24x, yes I blocked the sonsors, and I have tried with more than 7 ps1 games, it just stays on the black screen when I hit X

  • @Dominator1212 What is your retail PSX1 game you are using? What model number is scph 77001 relate to, is that at least version 9? You might have to post your question at the psx-scene forum, because I'm running out of solutions. It makes it more difficult because I can't replicate your solution on my working PS2 slim setup.

  • @gamedexterity

I don't know what scph 77001 relates to, that's the problem, I just thought that if there is a 9xxxx than mine would be fine, I believe 77xxx was made in late 2007 so it makes it extremely hard to find out.

I am using Simpsons wrestling, Mrs. Pac Man, Rainbow Six, trying to boot Spyro the dragon. My originakl Spyro copy is to damaged since I moved to be read on my ps2, I don't know how much it will help but I have the silver line oppose to the black version, Does that matter?????

  • @Dominator1212 I did some more research and you are well above V9. You are like V12. Silver or black doesn't matter. My brother has silver slim and it works fine. He has the SCPH 770012 I think, similar to mine. How did you burn the game? How fast or how slow? Can you try a different PSX backup game? So pretty much everything works until you put in the backed up PSX game and it just stays black?

  • @gamedexterity

Yes. Before I can play anything that is not the original disc, it turns black, not like video game black that is more grey than black, but full black, like the color of the screen before the ps1 logo, but it never changes, I've tried letting it run and it went for about 8 minutes without changing, what do you reccomend?

FTR I did the 007 Agent Under Fire Hack

  • @Dominator1212 I am really stuck. Best to ask the ps2 gurus at psx-scene dawt com. They know everything there is about the PS2, down to the bare circuit. Maybe they know a special trick. Good luck!

  • @gamedexterity

Thank You so much but let me ask you this, I just remembered, I didn't patch the game. What about that?

  • @Dominator1212 Not sure what patch you are talking about for the PSX games. The only patching is for ESR games, but that is for PS2 DVD games only. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity

Thats what I thought, ok well thanks for your help. If you ever need a video of what happens then Msg me and I'll make one as a video along with a.........(The video you make as a reply or something, I can't think of the name)

  • @Dominator1212 Video reply would be great. If anything, it will show the psx-scene guys what you are talking about.

  • @gamedexterity

Do I have to make an account at this site and stuff or is there a guest option or something?

  • @Dominator1212 You got to make an account, but it is painless.

  • @gamedexterity

Yeah I just did now I'm working on either looking for or making a forum about this. Thanks

  • @gamedexterity

Dude my friend just told me something...

Does the game your trying to play have to be in the PAL format?

  • @Dominator1212 Oh crap. I'm using a NTSC playstation, so I use NTSC games. If you are PAL , then use PAL games?

  • @gamedexterity

No I have NTSC my friend and me were on Youtube and saw almost everyone that was playing a backup using a PAL game or a import game like that. And your accent which I couldn;t pick, my friend thought it was canada and I thought USA so I wanted to ask you since I can't find out how to start a thread on Psx-Scene?

  • @Dominator1212 I do live in the USA. Go to a sub forum, and there is a button like start new topic or something like that. Look around in top header.

  • @gamedexterity Thanks man

  • @gamedexterity Thanks man

I can't find it though, is there ANY chance you could give me a link, I'll keep looking til' then

  • @Dominator1212 See PM very soon.

  • My mom bought my PS2 slim in March 2006, so it might work?

  • @AlyssaQistina98 Yes it will work. - Versatile

  • "stop eating out, stop buying games, stop buying clothes whatever"

lol. somebody has fucked up priorities.

  • @ResidenceOfEvil People are always telling me that they don't have the "funds" to purchase what they need. Well, that is my answer. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity I can understand stop eating out and maybe buying games, but buying clothes? Really?

  • @ResidenceOfEvil Tell me how many clothes are in your closet right now or shoes that you are not wearing on a weekly basis? Don't have clothes that you don't wear anymore? C'mon, there has to be something right now you own that you are not using as much as you should. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity I have one pair of shoes, and a very small wardrobe. Everything that I own I use often. And even if I DID have something I didn't often use, are you implying that I should sell a shirt to get a piracy-endorsing modifier?

  • @ResidenceOfEvil You have shown me that you are one of the more minimalistic guys out there and you live within your means which is great. Where I am at, the Goodwill stores and Salvation Army is full of unused items that people are giving away. It was just a tongue in cheek joke or statement in the video, no more and no less. I know people right now who are living with a LOT of stuff that they don't use. I didn't mean to get you rivaled up, and if I did, I apologize. - Versatile

  • @ResidenceOfEvil I think Versatile is referring to guys like myself, where right now I have way too many shirts and pants that I don't even wear. I am guilty of eating out all the time, and if I stopped going out for lunch every day, yes I would have additional funds to purchase other items that last me longer than a few minutes.

It's just about perspective, and your comment on piracy-endorsing modifier...anybody will use a tool the wrong way. Take a look at the Internet. :)

  • @ResidenceOfEvil Sorry if I am barging in, but one pair of shoes? I have shoes for winter, business shoes, running shoes, slippers, and tennis shoes. If you have a pair of shoes that can do all of these, please let me know. I need to cut down on my inventory of shoes and would love a special shoe. - Stealth

  • @ResidenceOfEvil you want versatile 2mention a side note up there on de video stating ur name and saying you dont have 2stop buying clothes to get dis, because u hav a small wardrobe? why r u arguing..it makes no sense. Its a general video for evry one out there.. It simply means he knows u have to shell out money but thats the only way out.Thers nothing wrong in what he said, But u definetly need to stop stating out in public u have one pair of shoes.thats not cool.Honestly i think thats a lie.

  • @l0mustang0l WHOA, TL;DR. Fuck that shit, I'm not reading all that argument over something as simple as me finding what the uploader said odd sounding. Fucks sake, man, learn to choose your arguments well.

  • @ResidenceOfEvil Good dont read. its better that way

  • @ResidenceOfEvil Duuuude... whaere is the problem? the statement was if u prioritised that as an objective that u need to accomplish. Let me explain to you in terms of coach. You see this guy versatile is like a coach.. he teaches ppl how to get stuffs done. and a coach has more experiance than the sports man himself, U know why?? cause he teaches noobs and makes them the sportsman.. Now coaches usually know the weak points the hard points and the encouraging points,...

  • @ResidenceOfEvil ... Now this coach here , knows that finance is one of the most common prob for most guys... remember he has the exp of teaching to a lot of noobs... u may not be a noob, heck from ur comment u prolly arent a guy who likes to game, i dont know.. by finance being a prob doesnt mean he says most guys are poor or something. No sir, he only means that most ppl wud find it a lil diff to cough up some extra money on something called as modding.

  • @ResidenceOfEvil .. ""stop eating out, stop buying games, stop buying clothes whatever"

you take that statement sensitively and in a very very negative mind yet you use the word fucked up - contradicting the whole idea. U Dont see anyone complaining on that you know why? cause thats how we roll.. Playing games is not a cheap activity, for game enthusiast. I know how many times i had to save my pocket money for 2-3 months & go into total 0 spending zone to get some games.

  • my modded slim ps2 plays psx games fine.. the problem comes when the psx games have more than 1 disk (final fantasy 7,8 etc) .. it never reads the game when it says "please insert disc 2" ... what the fuck??? help me!

  • @CancerianChris Is it related to the swap? Ask the gurus at psx-scene. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity excellent!. im off to make an account. cheers!

  • This also works with Multi Disc games i play lunar and metal gear solid , since you have a save file on the memory card just load the save game when you use the next disc, just a heads up for those of you who need to know about that.

  • Can't you just chip your ps2 and run ps1 backups straight off the mod chip??

  • @hippyraverocker Depends on the modchip. I don't have modchip, so I got to go the software route.

  • Insert PS1 Disc into PS2 then press the power button three times~

    Then voila~ it loads PS1 Games~ but it hardly load PS1 gameshark~ lol~

  • I write this comment to congratulate you for your tutorials and to add something strange that I encountered during the operation of psxloader on an SCPH-70004. I installed Free McBoot and PSXloader, following your vids, while using a classic PSX controller (not even analog).

Psxloader booted normally when I held R1 but when I pressed X nothing happened. No disk spin and no change on the screen. Don't even know why it came in my mind to try all this with a Dual Shock 2 but when I did, it worked.

  • @Qirexian All my controllers (PSX and PS2) are dual shock 2 style with analogs. I have no comment, but thanks for the trivia information. It might come handy! - Versatile

  • can u play original ps1 games on ps2 ?

  • @slide6ow85 Yes you can. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity ok thanx

  • If my game plays while my disc cover is open does that mean my sensors are blocked correctly?

  • @ImperviousMason Yes, that is correct. Have fun man! - Versatile

  • Booyeah XD

  • A man i forgot something I only have a Original Playstation 1 Disc This disc is not a game is a demos of games can i use PSXlauncher if i have a ps1 original demo disc???

  • @bonedicoot Yeah, I do that. It'll work.

  • Mi ps2 is scph 75001 It has a infinity Matrix Mod Chip 1.85 But when i put the back up disc it says '' Not psx Disc'' O_o?? please man help me 3 weeks before mi ps2 red my ps1 back ups but know it cant and Now im looking for another way to play again ps1 back ups T_T

  • @bonedicoot Can it load psxlauncher?

  • @gamedexterity Yes , it loads but when i press x the screen says that i didnt put a ps1 disc or something like that .

  • @bonedicoot Are your 3 sensors blocked? How are you launching psxlauncher? Does FMCB work?

  • @gamedexterity Yes all 3 sensors are correctly blocked and also FMCB works fine i boot Psxlauncher with FMCB

  • @bonedicoot So the original PSX trigger disc works. But then you swap with the backup PSX disc, and PS2 fails to read it. If that is the case, then clean the laser. Consult the gurus at psx-scene forums for additional help. If the PS2 worked fine before, and now it doesn't, then that means its a hardware issue somewhere. The software side of it remains the same.

  • @gamedexterity It works fine with dvd's but when i try to swap it with a backup it says "Not PSX Disc"

  • @bonedicoot I don't understand your statement about the DVD part. How does DVDs even relate to PSXLauncher?

  • @gamedexterity What i mean is that the ps2 discs (DVDs) has no problems but i cant use psxlauncher because it says the message "not psx disc" and i put a psx disc and the message , i try again and it continue show me this message . What i did wrong?? i did everything you show in your video . O_o???

  • @gamedexterity Im not using the ps2 games on psxlauncher im using it in normal booting without this program and the laser red it normaly the only problem i have is with Playstation 1 one psx Discs

  • @bonedicoot Does the PS2 recognize your valid PS1 game? Let's start there. Can the PS2 play your legit PS1 game without any mods? Your PS2 is v9 and higher I think, right? - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity My ps2 Reconize Original ps1 Games n it didnt make after march of 2008 Sony Made it Before

  • @bonedicoot So after you use the ps1 legit disk, then do the swap with the backup disc, it fails to load it saying not PSX disc....but it used to work before right? If so, then I am really stuck. Best to ask the guys at psx-scene forum.

  • @gamedexterity No it never Used to work before

  • @bonedicoot What is your model number? SCPH-XXXX

  • @gamedexterity SCPG-75001

  • @bonedicoot Ok you got a version 14. Best to pose the question at psx-scene forums and see what the ps2 experts have to say. It should work but right now I don't know why it doesn't.

  • Hi man i have questions #1 did you have a mod chip

#2 in this video did you block the 3 sensors???

    Thanks

  • @bonedicoot 1) No mod chip. 2) Yes sensors are blocked. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity you rock man thanks!

at last i'll get to play chrono cross and sd 2 again!

    thanks man you rock!

  • Hello! I have a ps2 slim pal scph-70004 Verion v12 no modchip, will psx backup games work on this ??

    thanks.

  • @Mosufo Yes, as long as you have a method to boot the PSXLauncher. Do you have FMCB? If not, find a way to get it made. - Versatile

  • i have one question bro..

can we boot ps1 games from external HDD ..like we do with ps2 games....without any hustle of placing disk in the drive.....?

  • @Sam2142rule : The PSX-SCENE is working on it, and it is not ready yet. Ask me again in about a year from now if it is released. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity dear Versatile ,i have already tried many ways google, yahoo, and etc...thats why i asked you to send me,otherwise i would bother you...

P.S i belive it wont be more than 2mb so i think its manageable :)

    thank you in advance

  • @giodemon Added new link. Go for it now! - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity OK ...im fed up of your bulsh... and now i im gonna to tell you that you are the the biggest BS talker in the World...

first of all this sh...t doesnt work ,i mean i'v done everything by schedule as you say but NOTHING...

"after disc stops spinning ,go swap beckup ,then pres X " and Sh..t ,it stays still and never start game(because it is not spinning anymore.)

so in the name of all people watched this which you waste the time and nerves F.... YOU !!!

  • @giodemon : Check all 3 sensors on your PS2 are installed correctly. I have no answer as to why your game is not spinning. I can make a new video that shows proof of me again playing a PS1 backup game using the PSXLauncher, but that still doesn't help your cause. To say that my video is BS is just BS man.

  • @gamedexterity my PS2 is FAT scph 30004 R...the fact is that i do everything step by step like you but nothing...

after that black screen comes up and a change the disc (CD) and pres X it stays like that...so i donno man or you PS2 is CHIPED or

something is wrong here because i have done everything by SCHEDULE like you say!

P.S after you change the disc ,camera goes to tv and you cant even see how it starts spin..i meant after we see the console its already spins and game boots!

  • @giodemon NOW it makes sense. You are using a FAT PS2!!!! No where in my annotations or more info section did I say this method is to work with FAT PS2. Only works with the slim. I got a used slim solely for this purpose (among other things). I have a fat PS2 also, but I could not get it to play PS1 backups no matter what. I almost gave up, and then I figured out the slim method and life was good again. Try or borrow a friend's slim PS2 and go from there. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity well HELLO then...

in some videos you have a texts in brackets which say that you say this and that by mistake and those methods works on both of them (fat and slim)

so now we see that , this VERY method works ONLY for SLIM!!!

so in advance, please make COMMENTS what specific console will take that method ok..because people are getting interested ,put really big amount of time and try's and at the end when your left with NOTHING..it really makes you ANGRY man and want to KILL

  • @giodemon Those tutorials I put down fat and slim for a reason. This tutorial notice I did not put FAT PS2 anywhere in the text description. I specifically wrote SLIM PS2. However, I will now put in a note right now its not meant for FAT PS2 to clarify the situation even further when I thought it was already obvious. My mistake. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity if you really mean what you say, then you must be nice guy... in that case i want to apologize for being rude, hope you understand...

  • @giodemon : Finally, an apology! I was hoping you would turn around and you did. There are so many people these days so quick to call out fake, that it really angers me at times, because I know what is real because I did the tutorial first hand, but yet when people get frustrated, they always take the anger out on the creator. It's not fair at all, and I did nothing wrong here. I had annotations, text notations...what else can I do? Absolutely nothing it seems. - Versatile

  • @giodemon : I have a SCPH-70012 slim PS2. I put psxlauncher.elf onto my FMCB, used a retail PS1 disk I had, and it played my backed up PS1 game fine. I don't understand how you can call the video BS when he clearly showed you the hardware in action. The lid was even open so you can clearly see the game was spinning? When you try to run your backed up disc, did the PS2 give you an error? Did you see your laser stay in place or did it move when you open the lid?

  • Hey there! I tried to see if this was mentioned already, but I didn't see a post about it so I'll just ask: does this method work reliably with unique multi-disc games like Parasite Eve 2? I ask because that particular game is designed in such a way that you cannot save your progress before swapping out discs.

  • @krizzik : Oh crap, I never tried 2 game discs like that before. So when you get to the end of the 1st disc, it says swap in 2nd disc and then you can save? - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity

That's right. Parasite Eve 2 is typically one of the hardest games to play from a backup state due to this issue. There are no save points before this swap occurs. What's more, if memory serves me correctly, the point where the swap happens is directly after a big boss battle; sort of adding insult to injury.

  • @krizzik : All right, there leaves only one option left, although not the best. Load a save game file after the swap occurs. This is done with help from gamefaqs. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity

??? Do you mean load a previously made save game that occurs on the second/swapped disc? How would you do that if you don't have a save that has occurred there yet? Or, are you saying that I'd have to acquire a save game made by someone else and load their save game after the swap? If it's the latter, it sort of defeats the purpose of all the work & items/experience a player had done/acquired through the first disc. Oh well...

  • @gamedexterity please m8 give me another link to psx loader.elf or send that file to my Email, because i cant get it this link is broken :(

  • @giodemon : Try google or skapps.

  • question when im inserting the real game and then i swap it with a backup does it have to be a back up of the real game?

  • @jda130 : No, it can be a different game. -Versatile

  • thanks for the reply, but I found another way to boot my ps1 games. Just restart the console TWICE in a row, u can do it 3 times if u want and it will work :).

  • To do that i think ur ps2 has to have a mod chip

  • for those that may be wondering ffgriever is about to(exact date is unknown)release a ps2 psx emulator called PS2PSXe

and with it there is no need for a ps1 memory card it will be able to load and save games from every media that you can access from the ps2 (eg. dvd, internal hdd, usb hdd, and network share)

  • And 1 more thing. I'm using Free mcboot and I have a modchip. When I burn the psx games should I patch them with esr? If I must do it, i can't. Already tried on a couple of games. It just says "No UDF descriptor" or something like that. I'll appreciate some help :)

  • @jijigaz : ESR is for PS2 DVD games only. - Versatile

  • @jijigaz

no you do not have to patch psx games with esr

esr patcher is only fore dvd games, cd games cannot be patched with esr alone

  • Will this work with scph-77004? I'ts V15 - i know that but I get a problem that says "i'ts not a psx disc". Am I doing something wrong or..?

  • @jijigaz : Yes it does work. - Versatile

  • Thank you man u r awesome for this representation on you tube you help me a lot.

  • What happens when you have a game that has multiple disk like FFVII when you change other disks?

  • @Frayhua : It will ask you to change disks. - Versatile

  • will it work in scph-77000?

  • @taeako : Yes. -Versatile

  • will it work in scph-77000? I dont know what my ps2 version is >.<

  • @taeako : Yes. - Versatile

  • will this work with a fat ps2

  • @Staticsupersaiyan3 : Only with version 9 and above. -Versatile

  • will this work with oringinal jap games

  • @Staticsupersaiyan3 : I use this method to play japanese shump backed up games, so yes it works. - Versatile

  • i did everything you did in the video and it didn't work. i have fmcb and psxloader, i have backup cd's (comp usa brand) burned using dvd decrypter (in either iso or bin/cue) at 1x speed, my version is scph-70011 slim. i have an original game (crash bandicoot). do i also need to block the sensors or get a flip top bc thats what many of the other sites are telling me to do. also how did your ps2 spin the disc with the top open bc i cant do that with mine. thanks in advance

  • @keyblader2k6 : Watch my slim ps2 video about using tape to block the sensors. Then come back. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity i watched your video on blocking the sensors and did it. unfortunately a couple new problems occurred: 1) i got to the ps1 screen but the logo disappeared and on the bottom where it says SCEA instead of the whole thing written out. 2) got a black screen after that. i feel like i didnt block the sensors down tight enough
