I think on 30 june 2004, because she was born when Usagi became Neo Queen Serenity, that is when Usagi was 23, and in one episode of Star series (in which Usagi was 16) I remember the year 1997 appears (so 23-16=7 ; 1997+7=2004). After acceding to the throne, Neo Queen Serenity crystallized people's ageing... thus Chibiusa, though she has around 900 years old, is still childlike, while King Endymion doesn't appear old-looking.

Now doing a little research while typing this, this sounds like it may be a manga/anime difference, since it looks like a wedding did happen in the manga. There are too many differences to assume that would still be the case in the anime version though.

@suchiuomizu yeah, i've read the manga and watch the anime - the anime left a LOT out. for example, usagi and mamoru's wedding, where she told him there was a certain someone with pink odango on the way ;) also in the manga there are shots of the two of them sleeping in the same bed - although generally accompanied by time-travelling chibiusa.

These are my thoughts.

In all fairness I highly doubt that Usagi and Mamoru would be able to figure out that Chibiusa was their daughter. I mean would anyone really be able to make the claim just by looking at them, Chibiusa has red eyes and pink hair compared to her blonde/black blue eyed parents. And the only thing they have as a possible hint to who her parents are is her name but she actually could be one of Usagi's friends' child and was given the name to presumably honor a deceased Usagi.

OKAY EVERYONE, the reasons Chibiusa's hair is pink is because it is said to represent her girlyness and innocence. Also, if you guys didn't read the manga, Usagi's mother Ikuko, had pink hair and red eyes and Queen Serenity had the same as well. Chibiusa's real name (usagi) means Rabbit. Her entire look is based on a pink rabbit. Her odango represents the ears and her eyes are red, like a rabbits. Also, her hair is colored after the inner part of a rabbits ear, pink! BAM, THERE YA GO

Chibiusa in the manga only states that Mamoru is her ideal prince and never says " I'll marry him".

When Usagi and Mamoru were unable to speak with each other directly (she was worried about Haruka's true gender), it was Chibiusa who purposely dragged them back together by making them do her homework.

She decides to stay out of Mamoru and Usagi after she realizes that she is in love with Helios.

I like her better in the manga.
