Asian carp are the perfect eating & breeding machines so spending millions of dollars to try to stop the spread of these fish is futile - it would be better to accept what is going to happen & prepare for it by putting money into retraining fishing industries that will be affected by the spread of Asian carp...
Asian carp are a great sport fish once you learn to catch them on a rod & reel as I have in the Illinois River - they grow huge. Americans can also learn to eat them as Asians have.
