When I hear about thos expensive plants and if it's a hybrid I always think, "Pheh, I'll just buy the parent plants and make my own." hehe. It might be your camera but their display area looks dark. That might be the problem with the flytraps. But the sarracenias are doing well and they need full sun so who knows. My camera makes my room look darker when it's really very bright. Glad you're getting into Sarracenias. I only have one, but hope to get more.
