@MrDanricho Dude, the poor bastard who has to scrape thier brains off the dashboard gives a "FLYING FUCK" as you put it. And do you know where the money goes? I think not. Ever heard of the "Victims of Crime" fund? The money goes to help rebuild the lives of those who have survived violent crime.
@auswolf350 ill be honest a speed limit will not save someones life in a accident. this girl a met last year is in a coma right now i dont see how a differnce of 10k/s is going to do if your in a speed zone of 100 and go off the road at 110k/s hit a tree ur dead there is little differnce. but i know you get the dumb cunts putting people in danager what can you do there are no racetracks
@sic1985d Who are u talking about? The hoons? Yeah, you are right. Hoons dont care about road safety whether it's their passengers or pedestrians. Paid off that fine yet?
why doesn't the Australian government invest its money and time elsewhere?
in summary, the govt. likes to
1) waste energy and time to lock the cars up
2) waste more money sticking lollipop men next to highways
3) spend less time investigating actual crimes
4) ruin driving as a whole by putting this burden of 'drive very very very slowly and don't stamp on the accelerator otherwise the policemen might come over to your house for an accidental 10cm tire skid.'
@Crevlthe Honestly! They wouldn't be wasting time and money locking up all these cars if people would just follow the road rules and not speed and drive dangerously. The majority of Perth drivers seriously need to grow up and stop acting like whiney little bogan twits!
@StukInaaroc I couldn't tell whether that was a supporting comment, but anyways :)
true - but my point is that weren't their sufficient regulations regarding road safety nowdays? it seems from the stories I've read so far that the police seem to take the 'anti-hoon' laws a bit too seriously - good to deter, but sometimes difficult to disprove.
here in Melb, I haven't seen a hoon yet, although I haven't been to Perth yet. :|
@Crevlthe I don't know how Melb drivers are like, but here in Perth people drive very dangerously and angrily. Not one day goes by that outside my house in a 50km/h area going what looks like 70 or so. More than 2 or 3 cars a day, not to mention the the people doing burnouts and shit. Its a fucking epidemic over here and i Fully support the cops coming down on the heads of people 'hooning' like a ton of shit bricks.
It was the outrage of the public 5 or 6 yrs ago at a couple of incidents within a couple of weeks, maybe a month at most in between where hoons were speeding through suburbia and one of them killed a little child in a pram when the mum walked out to check her mail. Then another incident i think a car went into someones bedroom. But noone gives a shit anymore now that they are being inconvenienced by the new laws.
Like the ads kinda say, don't speed and you wont get in trouble!
WOW. the gov and police love easy money grabbing schemes. there is a HOON just about every male. IS THERE A SAFE PLACE TO EXPRESS IT? there is a handful of legal tracks or drag strips in each state.. NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

There was a car once did a burnout bottom of street and drove out with no side windows and hole in the back, I thought that was an AWESOME story.
If you speed, that means you were born a bitch with as mall c**k
