ps why dont our bodies obsorb the heat the way the walls do. We obsorb the suns heat dont we? anyway please help really freaked out over this stuff and cant find anything about it.

Our bodies absorb this heat type of heat exceptionally well. It would depend on the absorption coefficient of the materials in your home, these could then be compared to the abs. coeff. of human skin to determine if our bodies in fact absorb more or less than your walls.
If your house was made from Aluminium and completely sealed and you blasted it with an equivalent of something like 100kW of Infrared heat it would also heat to 100 Degree Celsius!

I keep thinking that because we can cook with this type of heat and i have a cooker for that too that the heaters could somehow cook us sort of like a microwave only without the radiation. I mean if the sun is hot enough it can cook an egg on the concrete right? so whats to say these heaters are not cooking us? How do we know its not happening
Our heaters produce a specific heat range between 9-14 micron meters - this thermal range does not engage with the humidity molecules in the air and therefore does not change (dry) the air.
Part 1 of 2 Hi , We have 2 of the infrared heaters from the commercial that the omish people put out. We have had them for a few years and used them several times when the wheather was so cold out that our regular heater could not keep up with keeping the house warm. Every time we have used this heat I get a headache..
This type of system needs to be accurately specified for every building. FIR is designed for very well insulated buildings with minimal leakage. That way you won't get a headache due to the panels cycling at a high percentage (On Time). On times per hour should be down below 65% if correctly specified.
