I just took a bus through Stockton and have never seen a city in Nor Cal look so ghetto. Every building I passed had signs in Spanish, the paint had all peeled off of the buildings, and everything looked rusty and abandoned; it looked like shit. Dwindling Stockton's police force is by no means a good way to go about saving money. While the city pays off debts, the people are even more vulnerable to vandalism, assault, and worse. I challenge the mayor and her staff to take pay cuts.
