What are you talking about?? Have you even read any literature on clean coal, or the coal gasification process? As for the mercury and sulfur, most is removed from the raw coal after it's processed.

What a ridiculous and cowardly piece of propaganda. It's clearly biased and in many cases lies to try and scare people into thinking the Kyoto Agreement is evil.

1. 2:14 - USA is the ONLY country in the world not to have ratified the KA.

2. 2:28 - The KA does work, Germany has reduced emissions by 23%, UK 20% and who can ignore France's 80%

3. 2:41 - USA pollutes more than any other country, and is getting worse, emissions have grown 18%.

4. 4:02 - China and India have both ratified the KA

Clean coal is bunk. A lot of parts of the coutnry can not store C02 underground as it is geographically unfit. (The SE US) WHich would mean you would need C02 pipelines to take away plants waste. This makes it more expensive then renewable energy. And you do not have the C02 to deal with.

Nuke Power is a contractors dream come true, it is far too expensive to construct safe plants on a cost basis compared to renewables also. Wind, Solar, and hydro are it. You fail foxnews.

But why reduce co2 emissions when that co2 is not causing warming? In case you dont have basic science knowledge you do you realize that co2 is plant food and is a natural cycle of nature that plants thrive on.

More co2 = more plants!

Co2 is not a pollution and is not a harmful product. However taxing co2 is certainly a way to tax industry. So lets be at least honest as to what the goal here is, because co2 is not driving the warming (or now cooling we see on our planet).

Its pretty obvious that if youre against the west, then you dont want industry and this movement seeks to be anti west, anti capitalistic and more importantly wants to implement a carbon tax to take money from those businesses (funny how you dont see those people complain and demonstrating in front of industry in china).

So more regulations, a whole new system of taxes and you get to be against progress and consumption at the same time! Sounds like a near socialist dream to me.

The problem is a global warming is in a huge tailspin right now. We just had a noble peace prize winner for physics come out publicly state that co2 is NOT driving temperature. We had the coldest winter China in 100 years. Snow in Baghdad for the first time in 80 years. Coldest weather in Australia 60 years. The fact is that the co2 is simply a way for the socialists to push their redistribution of wealth through taxation. To Arnold sell out to the socialists is a very sad day.

Nuclear power is not the result of combustion, or a chemical process like burning of coal, so you really don't have a waste problem. As for burying waste, why on earth would you bury something that is radioactive? If the substance is radioactive then it has good useful energy and you re-process that material and throw it back into the reactor. Like computers, nuclear has changed a lot in 40 years since we built a reactor here. New technologies has solved the waste problems.

This is very true. I was reading in an issue of Scientific American about the reprocessing of nuclear waste that would yield less waste and and only be radioactive for 300 years. the French are doing this as well as other nations. Why can't we??

It's always fun to watch how ignorant and unread some people are. Global warming is happening, it's a fact! The kyoto threaty isn't working because countries like USA (btw the country that relises most green house gases) and China didn't sign it which is a shame. And what does he mean when he says that it isn't worth trying to fix the problem, that's just sad. And a new ice age might happen because of global warming due to the melting of the poles (in all fairness, not for a very long time).

What I mean by selling of the country is that Arnold Schwarzenegger is proposing one of the greatest and largest tax increases and wealth re-distribution system in the history of the state of California, and is doing so under the Trojan horse of environmentalism. Arnold Schwarzenegger's made millions of dollars on capitalist ideals and hard work, things that made this country great. Arnold is now turning his back on the very things that gave him the wealth and power that he enjoys today.
