If you get a home warranty, DO NOT get American Home Shield. They are a scam and a fraud. Save yourself the money and hassle. Don't take my word for it. Google it, and read the many cases of people who have been screwed by this company. I am only one of many.
2-10 HBW is a huge scam. The company does not tell you all the fine print on what is not covered. There are no emergencies as far as they are concerned. Also, all the sub-contractors they use are the lowest bidders in your area. You are not a priority when it comes to getting your repairs. Ask 2-10 if how much they will pay toward your repair if you call someone you trust. That is the best way to get anything done. You are still going to pay out of pocket but your repair be done quicker!
Home warranies are SCAM, here is why: NOT COVERED ITEMS: Insufficient maintenance, rust, corrosion, or sediment;
b. Improper installations, repairs, or modifications;
c. Mismatched systems. d. Undetectable pre-existing conditions which are defects or mechanical failures that could not have been detected by a visual
inspection and/or simple mechanical test. OR BASICLY ANYTHING.
