@HertzCOD4 my cousin owned a yamaha phazer and it sucked dick; it would always back fire and would die on us then he just finally sold it to someone for $100 and it never worked after he got rid of it. The new yamahas are a heavier machine then the other companies and are a bitch to ride. So maybe if you got something other then a yamaha you wouldn't suck so much dick

personally I think ski doos are a cupcake in a glass jar. They dress them up and try to make them look pretty but they break a lot. They are living off a name. They were the first and remember smart businesses don't stop selling you when you buy a unit-they make COIN off parts.The mxz I had rode like shit even with rebuilt suspension on the highest setting, but get on a polaris or yamaha and they are smooth. If your riding trails, I don't think you can go wrong with a late model yamaha 4 stroke.

what did every other brand do when skidoo came out with the forward seating style in 2003 lets think arcticat looked at the brilliant engineering and now there new sno pro is a copy polaris did the same thing and all there new sleds are forward seating yamaha you now have the nytro and phazer if it wasnt for skidoo everybody would still be getting beat to hell on the trails and there knees would still be in there chest when they sit down or they would have to bend way over when they stand up

just because it says skidoo on the side gives it value and a RESPECTABLE name, because being skidoo means it has quality and best of the best cutting edge technology and lightest weight and greatest power to weight ratio.. polaris undisputibly has a great sled, BUT the sled they have is a knock off imatation of another sled, and that's how they always will be.. proof- polaris IQ 440 (rev 440) Polaris RMK Pro (REV XP) polaris=smart but cheap design

@slredskull-skidoo and polaris never went out of business and the way things are looking, they never will. arctic cat is the only business that had a real rough time frame round the late 80's and early 90's. polaris stepped in and resurrected the "arctic cat" company. that is true that everyone has copied something. arctic cat had the first A-arm front suspension. obviously now every name brand has that. all i'm saying is people need to keep there biased opinions to themselves.

The ski doo is only 2 years newer it has 132 hp. The polaris is a 2003 and has 138 hp. Look into it. the polaris only weighs 2 pounds more even though it's older . I have nothing against polaris or ski doo . Just stating the facts
