  • his quality is stupid good

  • Funny thing, he's my school's drum coach.

He is one hell of a perfectionist.

  • lol such a fagget, cute little slams at the end of it. Really pronounces your gayness in the entire thing.

  • nice hand to hand transitions at 1:50

  • 0 dislikes ftw.

  • use to be my instructor for the last semester of 2008 and first semester of 2009 in highschool

  • 1:00 so much control. Nice.

  • dam this guys solo was sick with it. how did he not get 1st? but i definitely think he deserved better then 4th.

  • Your consistency of sound is amazing.

  • the king of transfers

  • the guy is good..... SHIT

  • :14 wtf, he makes the stick float up

  • im not a big fan of pearl quads but damn those carbon ply snares sound so damn good

  • GODDAMN

  • >Falcon Punch

  • AND HE DIDNT WIN?!?

  • purdie could do that with ghost notes

  • Good Stuff! I miss my Corp days

  • can anyone link me to his 2010 solo?

  • What's with the cross polination??? UnderArmor shirt and Nike wristbands??? :)

  • i wanna see his solo that he performed as a blue devil this year o.o

  • Sick!!!

  • he watched my highschool drumline in the lots last year. very cool

  • If that made 4th then what the hell made 1st lol

  • Wow...i nearly shit myself....

  • Manny is my drum instuctor

  • He's on BD snare line now xD

  • omg....he has a great hands....

  • I love how at 1:50 it all sounds like one stick being played.

  • he should have won damn judges jealous of the young folk

  • Banished...is that you?

  • i bet ralph nader came came first. black guy for the win

  • @347826able no but a black guy did come in first LOL

  • @347826able David Boriente!

  • @347826able he didnt even march that year.

  • Wonder why he's playing on a flat drum?

  • u were on americas best dance crew !!:DDD

  • this blows my mind haha.. this dude is sick.. his taps some the same.. in places where most would naturally accent he doesnt... great stick control

  • two things

1.why didn't he win first like last year haha

    2.what sticks are those?

  • Probably because of little things we don't notice without trying hard. Minor tempo things, clarity, etc. And an overall more competitive year for I&E. Sticks are M-Dawgs AKA Murray Gusseck sigs.

  • that's very true, i noticed that and david orientes solos as well. and the M-Dawgs are new right?

  • the answer to your #1: Did you see/hear David Oriente's Solo?

  • @Tenorsarefun yes whhy?

  • @killingspree926 you've got to be kidding me...Seriously? The reason why he didn't win 1st is because David Oriente FUCKING PWNED the competition. Period.

  • @Tenorsarefun dude idc my style is different from yours i like technical clean hyrbid rudiments mixed with nice visuals and crap david oriente just didn't get me to go "WOW" and if you can't accept my opinion, go get some common decency -_-

  • @killingspree926 dude, David's solo DID have clean hybrid rudiments and plenty of flash too; maybe not as much flash as Manny, but enough to catch the attention of an ignorant audience. Take out all the tricks & critique strictly the playing, & David wins hands down.

Now on a second note, I do agree that Manny had a much more impressive solo than Roberto Pazz and Probably even Takauki Nakabe. Manny should've placed 2nd fer sure. I think it has to do with Blue Devils biases.

  • @Tenorsarefun i am tripping balls then, and yes you are correct on that second note

  • David's was still the best I've seen this year, and even going back to quite a few previous years following legends like Ivan and Casey. Assuming you play snare yourself, If you didn't get at least one "WOW" out of David's solo this past year, you must be trippin' balls....

  • Take note... the drum is flat :)

  • The only thing I caught was the start of his 4's on a hand and that some of his flams sounded popped. Otherwise, he's got sick chops.

  • He definitely deserved 2nd. No doubt. He's tickless.

  • @soccerdrummer13 he should have beat takayuki or whatever

  • such an entertaining solo.

  • 1:28

    yes

  • he's going to BD

  • WHY!!!!! He should stay at SCV they need a come back title.

  • He couldn't, he's missing a camp because of Pulse. At least that's what I heard and I trust my sources haha

  • (that's why he's going to BD)

  • I think this guy has some pretty sick hands and chops, awesome!

  • damnnn

  • 3:08

    wtf.

  • @Chrisnamnama its magic :P

  • @Chrisnamnama damn cool

  • sorry to whoever posted this I read it wrong I thought this said 2008 not 2009 my bad

  • No problem, bro.

  • this guy was the winner whoever posted this video had the placing wrong

  • why did he not win?

  • @crazyuki13 is that a serious question?

take one look at David Oriente's solo, and then ask yourself again.

  • Yeah, man, Oriente murdered. That said, I think maybe this guy could have placed higher, I rather like this solo, although it is not blow me away fast. I actually think I like it better than Nakabe's.

  • right at 1:13 sounds like a rip on the beginning BD 09 snare solo but he played it flammed... you think he was trying to insinuate something? lol

  • does the sheet music for this exist ?

  • nice man

  • how did this not score higher?!? that was so bad ass. and i liked the pseudo ending to basic strokes with the crossovers, very cool lol

  • i like this solo better than his 08 one. great sound, lots of creative ideas, and just enough showmanship. what i really like is that he didn't recycle a bunch of showy licks to get the crowd amped up, a lot of his tricks were things that i haven't seen before.

  • Nice Quality of sound.

  • Amazing my love. I'll actually be there this year...

  • That was pretty sick. Too bad he didn't place higher.

  • Hw should jave placed higher. Unbelievable.

  • nice sound

  • superb sound homie

  • that snare drum sounds amazing

  • it doesnt sound as good as last years

  • lol. yeah its me....lol

  • Dude, you are AWESOME.

    That is all.

  • @sickeningsplat i agree u are awesome lol

  • Let me get the 08 one !

  • suck it manny. =<]

  • @Unnamed2003 mann your sick. you got chops out the ass!!!

  • @Unnamed2003 If it's really you, then your backsticking is outta sight.

  • There is no music written for this solo.....it can be if you would like.lol

  • Are you Emmanuel Deleon? o.O??

  • I'd like it if you wrote it out ... please and thank you

  • Oooo. I'd pay for it lol

  • @Unnamed2003 doesnt it piss you off that you didnt score higher, or place higher with such a badass solo? this was easily my favorite i&e solo of 2009

  • @Unnamed2003 Hey is your 2010 i&e video up anywhere?

  • @Unnamed2003

quite a solo to memorize. very skilled playing. congratulations!

  • does anybody know wer i can get the music for this?? or for his champion solo last year?? ive been looknig forever

  • fourth place? surprising. seemed better than oriente. who got 2 & 3 then?

  • Takayuki Nakabe got 2nd, and Roberto Paz got 3rd.

  • Comment removed

  • thanks man. i'd REP you if there was REP on youtube.

  • Yea I dig it! Better than last year!
