very interesting reflections here...specially on words and the unsaid...or their meaning being alluded...that revealed to me the intrinsically creative essence of communication. Thanks!!...you are always so rewarding to hear!.
You could try reading his lectures for workers during construction on the Goetheanum building. They are very practical. Specially his lectures on Christianity. They have changed my life completely. But Anthroposophy is not a theory, it should be practised.
i tried reading rudolf steiner and looking into anthroposophy at one point as i had been influenced by someone who was into it.... but i have to say that it left me feeling empty. i did not like it. did not find anything of substance in there.
my humble, friendy reccomendation would be to move on to something else....
(i thought it was a waste of time.)
of course, that is just my opinion, and of course you and anyone else are entitled to their own. ok. best wishes! :O)
it is the mediator of the messages between the actors, the holly spirit. we're neither it nor we are not it. then, how, when, where can we hope to be in it forever? it is eternity, but it doesn't contain time. it merely produces it... and space consumes it? you can not merely produce yourself? we gotta be consumed... there is no hope of survival beyond the identity of now. and now never lasts... ex definitione.
Hi! I think this boundary between inner and outer, taken in a very literal sense,as the point where outer sensation meets our perception meets our higher cognition is very relevant.I'm not sure if we should throw Kant out with the Kantian bathwater though. What is lacking is a description of this particular place, and what happens there.Kant knew he didn't fully grasp the schematic function. But the description can be both scientific (+logical) and phenomenological,as well as Kantian-philosophical.
@0ThouArtThat0 No problem. Can't wait to see your future article on this wondrous individual posted there as well in due time. All lover's of Matthew's pen do stay tuned!
Do you think more can become known about the scientific matters of the world by looking at all areas; philosophy, mysticism, religion, rather than just looking at only the science of consciousness or only psychology?
Go back to Kant and the German Idealists and you'll find what you're looking for. Fichte, Schelling, Hegel.

Steiner uses his intuitive developments in a treatise on "How to Know Higher Worlds". I haven't personally read it all yet, but it seems stellar.

@theomeow Yeah, he is definitely not for everybody. I'm most interested in his philosophical work and development of Goethe's scientific method.
