  • dude put em outside and let nature do its work.

  • Best advice for u is 2 ask questions.

  • its a lack of nutrients it needs some !!!

  • stop growing weed it's too horrible to watch it's like animal cruelty but with plants :(

  • Generally with plants yellowing on old leaves means a Nitrogen deficiency. The soil most likely isnt lacking, its just your plants cant access the N because the ph is off. You will probably have to flush with a couple galons of distilled water to fix the problem. a year late I know, sure you got it figured out. Hope you're still growin!

  • theres prolly too much how air circulating in there. in know they are cfls and they are not suppose to get hot. but maybe they are choking when you have the lid down on the box

  • STOP WATERING IT thats why its yellow

  • starters how hot and how many nuts are they getting? thats most likely the problem and chek the ph of the water you give them before every watering. and there very young seedlings any amounts of nuts that are to strong can do this.

  • overwatered and most likely bad soil with an acidic ph balance

  • chang the soil

  • Well, i solved that same prob by making the lights higher up because in my situation they were getting light damage, but I doubt yours have it because your lights are a bit too high as is. And the question if its a female, if it starts getting balls on it, its a male, if it gets little white hairs and flowers, its a female.

  • well you can try some plant food as i have. You might get it working. i used compost soil hope it work better for you bud

  • people dont need to grow bud if they dont know what the fuck they are doing

  • @ARMANI979 THATS REALLY DUMB THING TO SAY CUZ EVERY ONE STARTS OFF NOT KNOWING HOW TO EVEN THE GREATS LIKE SOMA AND IF PPL LISTED TO U THERE WUD B NO WEED AND NO ONE WUD GROW THINK B4 U TYPE

  • they need nutrients

  • how many lights you got in their?

i think you got toomany for such small space. when their they should only need one ea untill they start getting bigger then up the lights and make sure you keep them about 3-4 in away. also make sure you have good air ventilation going threw that box

  • Measure your PH, if it's higher than 6.5 then your plant is not using Iron. FYI... tap water is usually around PH 7.

Your larger plant looks overwatered by the drooping leaves. Get us a pic of the nodes to help determine sex.

  • @CJB425 good info didnt know that drooping leaves could mean over watering i have 3 plants and the leaves r crowning i was scared of overwatering but i guess im doing a good job if their crowning

  • the plants are not getting nitrogen possably because the ph lvl's in the soil or the water is to low. try adding some bakeing soda to raise the ph lvl's as well the yellowing can also be due to over heating. the best temp should be between 72-78 degree's. NEVER LET THE GROW ROOM EXCEED 95 DEGREES. hang a thermomater from a string so that it just touch's the top's of your plants this was you will know how much heat they are recieving from the lamps. if it's to warm i recomend you raise your lites

  • Hello.... great trying.... well dont take what i say as mean but.... this is ghetto... but I started the same way..

  • use seaweed/kelp extract

  • they may have a nutrient defficiency, you should look into getting some schultz nutrient solution, it comes as a bottle with a dripper in it, and if the plant has hair like things coming from the nodes its a felame if there are little bud looking things its a male.

  • whatta damn crap

  • since when did autistic people start tryin to grow weed LMAO!!!

  • There are 4 main reasons for yellowing of leaves, Under-watering, Over-watering, nitrogen deficiency, Iron Deficiency

  • and then once you can tell keep the lights back on for 24 hours or however long you have them on while your vegging.. this is just an idea.. and ive haerd you can do it but ive never personally done it.. another thing you might want to consider doing.. is LST'ing your plants.. ive been reading up on this alot and alot of people do it and get a much bigger yield once your finished.. since u have more than 1 plant you should maybe try in on 2 of them and see if it makes a difference. im doin that.

  • yeaaa. well your gonna have to wait a while before you can tell if its male or female.. you can look around on the internet and people will tell you theres ways to determine if its going to turn out to be a male or female.. but i think thats bullshit. if you NEED to know right away.. ive heard you can shut off the lights from 12-24 hours and start the flowering cycle... 12 hours of light on.. and 12 hours off.. and just do it long enough to see if any pistons or clusters start to show.. and

  • "Can anyone tell me if this is male or female?"

    LMAO!

  • you suck ass, take it outside!

  • blue lights are for veg right , red for flowering , im growing outside but the uk is turning colder and colder if i get a 250watt cfl how far should i keep them from the plant

  • between 9 and 12 inches mate. put ur hand top of the plant and if it burns then put it higher but 9to 12 should be okay

  • if u put it 9-10 inches ur wasting ur time....put it within 1-3 inches the most...

  • dude im trying to get a 250 watt cfl but i noticed the screw in part is waaaay bigger than normal lights. what did you buy ...like whats the convertor called

  • those plants are begging to be put out of their misery =(

    stop the cruelty!!

bring these plants out of the ghetto; they don't deserve this type of lifestyle

  • simply looks like a deficiency in nutrients. try using distilled water because yes,tap water, unless its been sitting for about 24hrs or so will create a great nutrient build up thus for cause plant not to absorb properly food. as for as detecting male from female at a vegetative phase, check the internodes. males will have tall thick stalks with internodes spacing at about an inch or longer and females are shoter not so thick with vegetative growth. Just keep an sharp eye out.

  • humidity to high,to much water, nitrogen deficiancy, needs brighter light, not enough drainage...plants like to be dry

  • lack of nitrogen og too much nutrition in the soil that builds up salts that makes it hard for the roots to consume water and nutrition

  • hhaa at the end can u guys tell me, haha i like u guy

  • Comment removed

  • Man, try some outside dirt. If you buy it it has too much shit in it and eventually you have to flush the plant.

  • what do you have your lighting cylce on? 12/12 cause your little plants look like there trying to be thrown into budding, your big plant doesent look happy its all droopy and what not, get some plant food and more lights, look at mine, you will like

  • also the male/female plant looks overwatered hence the droopy fan leaves, do u have any drainage going outta that one? if not you NEED it

  • also you need your cfls closer, you cant tell if its male or female until you switch the light cycle to 12 hours of light 12 hours of dark, thats the only way, unless your plants are so old they force themselves to sex, depending on your light schedule. but usually people will tell you that the fastest growing and most strong plants are male, just like humans, males are stronger and grow bigger then females...but if u get a strong woman, oohhh man, thats gonna be some good dank for sure!!!

  • you need nitrogen, and different soil, i would suggest (people will hate me for this but when you feel and touch it your gonna be like damn this is so fluffy , its so fluffy when u first water it looks like a swamp or quicksand n shit lol, it worked great with my first grow, no doubt) miracle gro african bloom potting soil. im doing my second grow now, had it in some nasty ass potting mix soil shit before, transplanted to MG african bloom pottings soil, literally grew almost twice as big nextday

  • Sorry your grows aren't working out. Try a google search for "Marijuana Grower's Handbook" This book was from the early 1970's and has been updated from time to time. It is free online.

  • thay all gona die haha lol yello leafs

  • ur lacking something in the soil im having the same problem w/ my outdoor garden im looking for the answer that plant is female if u see no seed pods trying to grow at this stage but yeah it looks female

  • And be careful what potting soil you use because some do have fertilizers in it, and you always want to use very mild amounts of nutrients when they are young.

  • It could be the PH of the soil... it should be around 6 to 6.5, you'll have to buy a PH meter,

it could be too much water, do the finger test...gently stick part of your finger in the soil and if it feels dry, then water. This is trial and error but usually from what I've seen you should be watering once every second day.

And don't go crazy with the fertilizers, use less than half of what they suggest on the label and later you can use the right amount.

  • Long ago, first time, I brought 4 plants to maturity in the corner of my apartment under foil and a 6 long-bulb flourescents; one warm light for two cools. It can be done. Just watch the reek.

I started with neutral soil (lots of perlite for drainage) and some worm dung in 4 liter (1 gallon) milk jugs. Get an organic nutrient system and a ph test kit from an aquarium store. For seeds I just used what I saved from scores and weeded out the (6) males. Worked great for a ghetto grow.

  • Alright man. just a few things i would recommend. I go to school for plants. Start your seeds in smaller pots, the tighter the rootball the better. Don't fertilize until theres 3 sets of true leaves(this is also when you should repot). most potting soil has nutes so theres no need to add more for a while after repotting. the best way to know when to water is to pick up the plant(pot and all) and see how heavy it is.

  • your defenitely overwatering! You ever notice when you water your plant that the leaves curl down?I bet those plants roots are either rotting or stunted. And dont listen to these people about putting anymore nutes in.those yellow leaves is probably nutrient burn or the result of both, what you can do is wait till the soil dries out then wash it out with a alot of water then when your ready to transplant make sure you put more perlite in.And put the lights closer and the fan blowing inbetween

  • lacking nitrogen or ur ph is to low (acidic)

u need to put those light closer so u can burn those pieces of shit up so u can start over bud!

  • ... thats too low. My box is only a square foot in diameter, but it's around 3 1/2 feet tall. And to answer your question if the other plant is female or male, if your giving it the same light cycle as the other plants, you wont ever find out what sex it is. Get that other plant, put it in another box and flower it (12/12 light cycle) and its sex will come out. I guess that plant is about ready to flower anyway. Buy some fertilizer high in nitrogen, that'll bring back its color. Peace!

  • ... I think the lights are too low. Your babies look too short, as with other videos you could see the stems of other plants are tall and stretched, thats because the plants stretch out for light as a seedling. Start off with 1 or 2 cfls on and wait for the plants to stretch up a little, then when they get an inch and a half tall, bam! hit them with the full light setup of 6/8 cfls you got in your box. Also, what are the dimensions of your box? If the height of your box is smaller than 2 feet...

  • Yo dbahsee! I'm glad your third grows looking better than your previous grows. I'm using an indoor box/closet like yours maybe we could help each other out. I'm no expert, but I see some problems in your set up. The lighting, exhaust and temp look to be just fine, even though that is a lot of light for a small grow box. What I notice is that...

  • test the ph level, make sure it isn't to acidic or basic. what type of soil are you using?

  • I am using basic potting soil at this point and have some organic soil ready to transplant them to bigger pots which i have just done today still have the bottom leaves burhing off , and i water them every 4 days and my temps stay in the 19c to about 21.c at times. i have one of those oldscool ph testers,i dont really trust it , ive been looking for a ph tester i can just insert into the watr or soil tosee whats going on , with the dirt, if u know any stores i can pick one up let me know !

  • over watering them :(

  • @dbahsee dude u need to water every 2 days and plus a good potting mis is potting soil, mixed soil , worm casting, perlight and building sand. now u need to put 65% potting soil 15% perlight 10%worm castins 10%building sand and 5% mixing soil. the resoan for building sand is so the roots can break thro the soil easyer make sure no salt!!!!! is in ur soil for it will shorten water and kill the plant and ur big planet is female if it as atleast a total of 7 tips on one leaf keep grown!!!!!

  • you need to add some nutrients, but only use one quarter to a half of the recommended dose because its so early, plus during the regular light cycle if you can possibly put it in direct sunlight through a window for few hours, also you can't really burn your plants with CFLs, only way to check sex of plant is 12/12 light cycle but to me that plant looks like a wilted TURD LOL

  • you need nutriants they r turning brown because they are using all the sugars stored in the plant

  • the only way to tell if it a female is by budding it 12hours on 12 hours off
