this shit happens when people dont pay attention. i cut my finger with an exacto knife when cutting a piece of candy. also if your stupid it happens : /. now i have half the fieling in my finger but its funny how the nerves tried to compensate by making the remaining feeling extra scensitive to heat. the body is amazing

Cool. I'm glad it's ok. I have been cut on a table saw. It's a serious accident that you just have to deal with. After it heals, you are just wiser, if that helps any. I always think about the next cut I am going to make and look for the safest plan. I used to rush and work too many hours. I was really tired when I cut my left, middle finger in half. Never again!

That's amazing how it healed so quick. If there wasn't a (barely noticable) scar there, you wouldn't be able to tell it had almost been severed at all.

wow your nail grew back normaly that's not fair my finger dont even have a nail and my toe naile grew back deformed and the doctor's told me it will grow back like a rapter's nail and it did and it's 10x harder than a normal nail

i got 2 fingers sawed off in a bike accident. they tried to replace them but it was too late. the thumb is the most important thing at your hand.

@rhoto about how much feeling do you have back?I cut off my middle finger on November 8,2007.And well "for the most part" is about the same answer I give to people also.For about the first year and a half I would wear a couple of band aids around the finger and it would help get rid of some of the numbness feeling.But loosing your thumb pretty bad,your hand almost becomes useless,you are not able to grip and pick things up
