Jeez, it's an abundant species! These animals being set aside in a similar environment by zoologists (who study animals natural habitats and how to mimic them btw) is so miniscule. Besides. It's there job to make sure there in the correct temperature, have a proper diet, Live in the right environment etc. It's not like they are placing the animal in a domestix home setting.

@Piggie822 Yeah, pygmy marms cannot swivel their massive eyes, so if they want to look up, down, or to the side they have to physically move their heads.
