Never heard of Sipson or Harmondsworth and you are in favour of the third runway!! How can you have an opinion on somewthing you clearly know nothing about.
Thousands of peoples homes will be demolished as well as a historic tyde barn, a church and a graveyard. The goverment want to dig up the graveyard and move the bodies and graves etc to another location, how can you say that this is ok??? Clearly you dont have family or friends buried there.
I support the third runway, in fact there should definitely be a fourth runway too. People who choose to live near airports and then moan about the noise are morons, its that simple! And they totally exxagerate, the noise is 10 times less than living on any even slightly busy road.
This man probably bought his house a long time ago. airport expansion has only started happening in the last 40 years or so. It is exactly the same as communist China building over homes for a new Olympic stadium.
@druett20 So aircraft have only been invented within the last 40 years, and the huge airfiel expansion of WWII didn't happen? Please check your facts before posting such rubbish.....

@markgates2 I know exactly what I'm talking about unlike you. My comment stands, people who buy houses near airports then complain about the noise are imbeciles and their complaints should be wholly disregarded. Too many historic airfields have already disappeared thanks to knobbers like that......
@wepmob2000 you have no idea what you are talking about. try living next to an airport for 36 years and then they decide to bulldoze ur house. its next to the green corridor to london and there is restrictions on cars and vehicles over certain pollution levels because of the pollution in thearea while aeroplanes roar by every few seconds. try having relatives buried in shepiston lane cemetery for them to be dug up. people like you make me sick....i hope they decide to build in ur back garden
@markgates2 My heart bleeds for people who decide to live near an airport then moan about it - not. Its a simple fact that theres been an airfield / airport at that site since the First World War. Anyone who lived there prior to this would be pretty damn old by now (i.e: this applies to none of these NIMBY's). If they don't like it they could either move or not have moved there in the first place, after all Heathrow airport is kinda difficult to miss... My sympathy for them remains at zero.
@wepmob2000 before you come out with another ridiclulous comment get in your car and go and sit in cranford for an hour and watch the pollution, breathe in the fumes and listen to the noise. you go round calling people "knobbers" you are deluded mate
@markgates2 I have actually, and at the other end of Heathrow in Bath Road, and didn't notice the pollution was any worse than elsewhere in London, and the traffic noise was far more worrisome than the aircraft (and that wasn't worrisome if you're used to London). And guess what - the (mainly Asian) population there doesn't care about the airport because they're too busy working, unlike the usual middle class NIMBY knobbers in videos like this, who worry about the view from their conservatory.
@wepmob2000 oh i see so you throw in a bit of casual racism too, im not going to argue with someone who cleary doesnt have the rationality to have a sensible debate. i dont think you know the area too well as cranford is along the bath road as is all of the airport. sipson is predominantly working class and you would know that if you had any idea. i bet you would be a nimby if you lived under a flight path. noone is saying stop existing runways just dont expand....a bit like ur brain.
@markgates2 You have a strange idea of racism, unless you mean my implication that Asians are harder working than English middle classes (which they are). I know the area perfectly well and still my sympathy for local NIMBY's is zero. Personally I find your 'arguments' bizarre, they're tantamount to saying 'lets arrest the development and progress of the UK' because a bunch of moaning NIMBY's who CHOSE to live near an airport don't like a little aircraft noise.....?!
@wepmob2000 mate, your arguement is flawed, you talk about nimby's which is not in my back yard but its not in my back yard its in my front room....my house will be demolished along with hundreds of others, now if the rioters destroyed my house it would vbe a crime but because a corporationswants to do it and they have money then its fine....its double standards and its disgusting
@markgates2 You'd be adequately compensated so whats the problem, just move somewhere else - job done! Compulsory purchase orders are far from a new thing after all. Anyway the third runway is now dead so whats the issue there?
@markgates2 If you hate living there as much as it seems, then move.... a simple answer to a simple problem. Anyway, as you have only lived there for 36 years, I think you forfeit any right to moan about the noise, the airport was there in 1975 and the planes were a heck of a lot noisier then too.
@wepmob2000 mate you have no idea, i love living here in a friendly community and the airport as it is isnt a problem. i used to love hearing the roar of concorde, and wouls stop talking until we could hear again.. what i dont like is people like you and the airport assuming that my house and my family are irrelevent and can be bought and demolished without my opinion. i wont reply anymore as there is no point talking to ignorant people like yourself. so take care
Sipson? Where the hell's that?! Never heard of it!
Say YES to a bigger airport! ;)

Sorry m8. I was only "pullin the leg" of the locals who happen to live there. My comments were purely for fun.
I'm truly sorry for anyone who will be affected by this.

Have your voice heard, visit StopRunway3
one form emails over 100 MPs,Local Councillors, Newspapers including the DTI Heathrow Consultation team, saying;
"I fully support the 'Just say NO' campaign. I am against the third runway at Heathrow."
Act now before it's too late ( the DTI Heathrow Consultation end 27 FEB 2008). You can still email after this date, but before would be better.
Thanks
