I noted this was uploaded September 5, 2010. From what I've heard in the news the last 5 years or so the real estate market han kind of sort of fallen apart. If you don't mind my asking how has your empire held up.
As a wholesaler I know real estate isn't passive but I did plan on holding some property in the future and that was supposed to be passive. Rethinking that a bit now. Thanks.

Anyway, what you said makes a lot of sense. The term passive income is flawed I agree, you still have to work your butt off to KEEP that income and avoid troubles like you were saying. Thanks for the informative video :)
The initial mindset u spoke about in this video is not the mindset of passive income. It's the mindset of lazy. Passive income does not mean that u do a little work & then do nothing. The correct mindset of passive income is the latter description in this video that u choose to call "property management". The problem w/calling it property management is that real estate is not the only avenue to earning passive income. No matter what you call it, it's awesome that freedom is at the core of it!
