It sucks that they only give it out in japan.

So you have to buy:

a 64DD(Expensive)

F-ZERO X EXPANSION PACK (Expensive)

A japanese N64 (because your normal won't do)

A japanese F-ZERO X (Your normal will not work)

if you really like the game, it's a "have to". Ok it's pretty expensive (~600$) but I'm glad I buy it cause the game is 500% better now with all the add-ons. ^^

I know. :) I maked 2 sets of 24 tracks like this and compiled it on roms. But the EK is different :

1- easier to use, make a track, test it.

2- more compatible with CPU

3- got 5 new BGM and 3 extended ones

4-custom cars available

5-You play on your 64, on your coach, with your 64 joypad, on your TV. ;)

But the Execution project got some things the EK do not have which are pretty cool :

1-easy to share (by rom or track files)

2-easy to capture videos

3-special textures (GP endings)

Does the Expansion Kit allow you to have sharp curves?

I think it works differntly. Maybe sharp curves are more allowed in the EP tha in the EK. But I think it works well on the 2. I mean it's easy to make a curve which is impossible to not hit the wall on both of them.

Yeah but in EK, you can't do so sharp curves that the game won't load, right?

the editor will tell you your track got an error and point it directly. So you can avoid the non compiled data like in the FZEP. This is what makes building tracks on the EK waaaay more easy and faster. You can test your track in 2 sec when you want and can be aware of track's errors and corrected them easily. (sometimes to fond my error in FZEP it has taken me one hour, it never happened in the EK).

@antonj3000 You can remove a certain part of your N64 that blocks Japanese cartridges. Right about the other three things though.

well go to F-Zero X Custom Track Creator Demo/ Getting started obviously here on youtube then click the vid. then click on more info and clik the link and click download and voila u have a track maker but also watch the vid. cos it will help u hoped tat help XD
