Maybe the fines are to cheap... Hum, do like some countries and base fines on thier total worth..... Some tickets may draw a few million dollars - that would really help if the fines went to good use in the community....

This issue at this specific crosswalk goes back almost 30 YEARS and probably much longer. In 1982 I can remember stopping for pedestrians in this crosswalk and almost being rear-ended by a limousine that had been following too close behind me. Then the limo's driver got mad at me!

There should be a pedestrian-triggered flashing red traffic signal and it should've been installed in the previous century.

Now BH should take some of that revenue and INSTALL a signal. Yes, this problem is city-wide. I dodge cars EVERY single day here just trying to walk a few blocks...even on the sidewalk!
