@ajfratt I know next to nothing about ProTools so I can't say if it does handle video editing but its touted specialty is in mixing and mastering audio tracks. I used Sony Vegas on Windows to put these clips together. Lately I've been using Adobe Premiere though.

@Metal6Guitarist With an Axe :). No, seriously, with Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere or some other video editing software like that. Then it's just a matter of dropping the clips onto the timeline on different tracks and resizing/moving them.

@Metal6Guitarist Kind of a loaded question there - you can download anything you like. Whether it's legal or not is the real question :). I've never used movie maker so I don't know what it can/can't do.

@vezo4 The question is, as I understand it, "When you do the first riff (07 p 5) do you simply lift up the pinky (that is on 7 on A string) to do the pull off?" Yes. I do alternate picking there and the down stroke is on the 07 with the pinky down on 7 and the up stroke on the 05 with the index finger on 5. The rhythm is a dotted eighth note (3/16ths) and a sixteenth (1/16th) note repeated in succession to create that gallop feel.

I noticed that you have the steve's special with the cream side facing the bridge. Aren't dimarzio's typically reverse zebra, meaning that the cream sides end up facing the middle? Which side are the wires running from? I'm just curious because I'm probably going to get the same pickups for my Washburn WI45. Thanks for all the great uploads!

You know, I honestly have no idea which color is supposed to face which direction. I didn't notice any significant difference in either direction. The wires are coming out closest to where the controls are in this orientation and it was easier to install this way.

Nope, standard E tuning. I think the KEA album has slightly higher than standard tuning.

James Dunne is, for sure, better than Kirk. Kirk, after about three decades of playing, still can't perfectly reproduce his solos live (he could back in the late 80s, but has deproved drastically since).

It's an Epiphone Les Paul copy I picked up at Guitar Center about 10 years ago. Yeah I can try to do more 'tallica covers for sure!

Yeah I liked the hybrid guitar approach here. JS-1000 is excellent for leads, not so much for rhythms. The LP has a much thicker and more solid body which controls the rhythm tones a lot more.
