Laser beams can be invisible, and lasers create heat at the point they strike an object. Laser printers are already popular. Perhaps Brown's ping pong balls were coated with a heat-sensitive material that turned black where heated. Now all he has to do is to make a long-distance laser printer to print the numbers on the balls between the time the numbers are announced and the time Brown rolls the balls over.

Just under 14 million to one is the chance of winning the jackpot for each bet - assuming it is a random draw. If that isn't bad enough what if Derren is suggesting it is manipulated? You can only then win if a jackpot winner is selected rather than, say a rollover. Bad.

^^ he's right...... all they would have done is cut and paste both sides of the screen together so that someone can literally walk on and write the numbers down (hence why he read out the numbers straight after. The same shot would have been taken be4 the lottery and the side of the screen with the cups with the numbers on the back was pasted onto the live showing.

Anyone with a good eye for video quality will be able to see that the lottery is live. Derrens programme is live at the start then changes to pre-recorded when he walks into the studio. A split screen if you see one does not explain having the correct numbers on the card on the right when it is clearly a recording.

i cant believe you lot are a bunch of idiots. check lottery website, find when draw is made on a wednesday and it will say 8pm the bbc show is pre recorded to be shown at 10:35pm or after the news. check lottery ticket if you dont believe that. channel 4 may have been live but the draw wasnt so he had known for 2hrs and 35mins. you cant predict something that already happened. if he could he'd have bought a ticket but he cant after 7pm uk time. its a con, his aim is to keep you guessing.

Its not a law that he can't say it, it is because the BBC has a license with Camelot to announce the numbers so it would be Channel 4 and the TV program makers that would be in trouble with the BBC for announcing before they did.
If it was live (not doubting it wasn't) then it wouldn't matter who was in the studio with him because you can't buy a lottery ticket that close to the draw happening.
