  • Over 100. Good stuff. Id like to see someone do that on ice though xD

  • 140 ft

  • but the rest is awesome... sick drops (I couldn't just leave hate and feel good about myself)

  • flashing hexagons annoy me

  • burritotoast go fuck yourself

  • Sick drops for sure!

  • First one is between 65 and 75. Gnarly.

  • 55 feet?

  • do you have to hike to get too these or are these in the ski area boundary?

  • good

  • hunny comb effect is dope

  • Manuel-- Sick method!!! Lands it!!!

And ya- the first one he bonks the tree??!?!!?

  • Manuel-- Sick method!!! Lands it!!!

  • Those guys need a backpack just to carry their balls in. I would never do that, even if I could

  • 40 ish FEET....no math.... just experience.

Some of these self proclaimed math wiz's should sell their calcalutor and buy a board.

  • @radairman33 40? i have dropped a 40 at squaw. i think this is bigger.

  • @crv26 not too much most of these guys were getting 30's depending on where they launched from...there is one guy that got huge because of where he launched from....

  • @crv26 The first air is definatly bigger than 40

  • @DannyAshcroft agreed!

  • the first one fom the beast is 60 for what he did if i remember

  • How do you all test the powder for depth in the landing area? Aren't you afraid the powder will only be like 2 feet deep and you'll just slam into a bunch of rocks one day? lol

  • @anewkindofangel

It's a given that if Shuksan Glacier has that much powder the runout is completely covered safely too...

...and ya...dont ever use that honeycomb effect again, it ruins the viewing.

  • Holy S. Those skin FX SUUUUUCCK!

  • lmao 20-30 foot cliffs but they were droppin a good 60 fete

  • I can't believe some peoples guesses at how far those drops offs were.

  • your little "honeycomb" FX are fucking gay...

  • Maybe they are, but who cares its just a youtube video.

  • @funnerprojects

i guess youtube is all about adding pointless fx now

  • so youre saying it's ok to be gay, as long as it's on youtube... gotcha ya... i like you're other work. all million and a

    half of them

  • @Burritoast No he is right, they destroy the video...

  • @Burritoast your fucking gay

  • @Burritoast ya im sure YOUR cliff drop snowboarding vid is way better than this.... im sure its perfect

  • @Burritoast i agree

  • 15ft

  • that was no more than like 6 feet

  • Second one has my vote even though the first was obviously the biggest. Let me know the next time there is a session. It would be fun the throw down....or at least throw myself down a cliff.

  • 4 ft

  • what the fuck, that was way bigger than four feet

  • at 0:15 80 fter with 40ft extra hella

  • nice work.. im goin out to jackson hole on friday... i hope they have cliffs like thatt

  • 10000000000000 ft that was so scary i crapped my pans REALLY

  • i have always wanted to hit these cliffs....they scare the piss out of me tho

  • about 60 to 80 ft

  • 70 footer

  • the one at 0:15 is atleast an 80 footer

  • @stingraysswimmer agreed but the drop is like 35 and then a lot until he lands lol

  • I hate the editing... Keep it clean! It's annoying to look at! But nice footage.

  • it looks like a 40 footer

  • holy shit i miss Baker. im stuck in Iraq this winter. im hittin the big one next year after I get home.

  • Comment removed

  • The first drop is about 44.1 Meters high...

  • i bet im the only one in frisco tx

  • go big or go home, if the powder is deep u best go get ur ass flipping off tht cliff with a snowboard under ur feet

  • White Pass is like 5 hours from my house

  • same

  • fusk i wanna do that soo bad eventually, maybe start on something a lil smaller =P

  • If the powder is deep, go big!!!

  • mt bakers an hour drive from my house

  • Same here bro

  • really? i live in twassassen

  • Where? I don't know where that is, but I live in Issaquah/Sammamish if you know that area. We're closer to Snoqualmie but Snoqualmie sucks compared to Baker and Mission Ridge.

  • so do u live in the USA? maybe i was being to specific where i live. BC, Vancouver, Delta, Twassaassen...

  • In washington state. Just outside of snoqualmie, so like 200 miles, not too far

  • these guys are awesome and man these guys got balls not like you!!

  • So is one of the riders in the first 30 secs Lucas Debari from 07? The beast, the brain, and the diving boards....oh such phun!

  • I like Pickle!

    Harry harry pickle!

Now please stop using symbols and words I didn't even know exist! I'd guess about 75.34245ft.

No seriously you were right :)

  • Really sorry to be a douche,

but s=ut+1/2at^2 (working in metric with acceleration due to gravity 9.8)

    So distance in meters = 1/2x9.8x9 = 44.1 meters

or about that because of air resistance, possible already moving down abit and he probably wasn't dropping for exactly 3 seconds

    sorry :)

  • This guy did his math right. his initial velocity (ut) and wind resistance probably limited his acceleration, but by the time he hit assuming a vertical speed of 15 mph at take off, he was likely doing more that 35 miles per hour.100 feet is probably not out of the question. 145 feet seems a little much, but that cliff is fucking huge. I see it 4 times a week.

  • acually you did it all wrong the s=ut+1/2at^2 is wrong becasue the actual meaurment insnt in meters it all measures in feet per sec which puts the whole calculation out of proportion so if i were to guess it would be at least 60 feet

  • Actually, I'm right mate, I'm working in metric.

s is in meters and a is in ms^-1, and my only other unit is seconds, so where have you got feet from? Please don't slag off my working out when you clearly haven't looked at it

  • Comment removed

  • the official rate of gravitational acceleration which bencarl has given is 9.8 m/s^2. He is correct. His only units are meters and seconds. Feet are not a part of this equation. if you'd like to use feet, 32.17 f/s^2 will be your rate of acceleration.

  • no way thats 144. your calculation is bullshit and wrong. thats probably around 40-50 feet.

  • it is bigger than 40 to 50. I can tell you that. The one the skier (John Wells) does is 30 to 35 or so. Christian Regester, the snowboarder in question probably dropped upwards of 80. If you've been to Baker and seen the beast...or dropped it, you get a better idea of scale. as for the calcs...no one here has any idea what they are talking about.

  • youre a fuckin d bag... have you ever jumped off a forty foot bridge into water. thats way about a hundred feet higher than a forty foot bride dumbass mother fucker. go shit a brick!!!

  • i dont know what message your trying to convay. is that even english?

  • thats def not 144 ft

  • Comment removed

  • what?....are you serious? I'd recommend staying far away from any conversation that has anything to do with math. I would have to start from square one to explain to you what is wrong with what you just said. I'm not sure you would understand the explanation.

  • he probably falls abillion feet

  • lol i did a drop like the smallest one in the video..i felt like a god XD

  • Totally puss, maybe 20 ft.

  • lol? first one he falls probly 40+ feet

  • wrong. please try again.

  • Ok, start from square one, because I am pretty sure thats right and all you have posted is that I am wrong. You have given no proof, no alternate workings, you haven't pointed out any errors in my working or even shown any understanding of maths except you know that you are vaguely aware that the number one exists.

    Try me though.

  • What are you talking about? I'm looking at the thread here, and I'm sure it is clear that I am not responding to you here, but rather DANIS18GRRR, and dannyfilice, who were estimating 20 and 40 feet. I hope you were responding to something else I said. Take a look below, I supported all of your calcs. We don't know anything about wind resistance or initial velocity, so the measurement cannot be completely spot on, but the math and idea are correct.

  • Ah sorry to have been so rash, when I looked at the comment posts it looked like it was aimed at me and as you can see some idiot already felt the need to make out that I'm utterly useless at physics and I'm getting pretty pissed at it. It seems like the internet is just becoming the publishing ground for idiots who sit in one lesson a week and consider themselves qualified to shoot others down who actually study the subject.

    Sorry again,

  • dude stfu these guys have way bigger balls than u. when you get off the bunny hill then you can start callin people out

  • awsome video, wish i was that good

  • that is huuuugggge

  • the first drop is huge bro

  • does it hurt a lot falling in that much powder?

  • no not at all today me and my friends build a kicker of a 10 foot drop and about 30 to 40 foot gap and u just land and nothing

  • The winning one is great, but that first one is HUGE.

  • Those are some of the best big hits with a good landing at any SKi hill in the US... Good Footie ..

  • felicitaciones ,, que wena el cabro ese anda motivaoooo saludos jeremy!

  • Nice...I like the method

  • lol that's crazy

  • Great videos, guys! It's snowing pretty good here in MT right now. I hope you all have a GREAT season!
