  • Thanks for this video! It's great to see some of the techniques we learned at the last workshop. Good stuff.

    Kudos!!!

  • GO DR.V

  • It's so wonderful to see a society that accepts all styles. "same slice of beef, just cooked differently." I agree the important thing is "the pratictioner" of the style not the style itself.

  • Nice moves. But how come we never see this kind of moves in MMA fights? Could that be because they are not practical in real fights?

  • In the Art, Science, & Philosophy of Combat, one must realize that it is not the style but the individual and their understanding of Anatomy, Physiology, & Physics as one attempts to control Time, Distance, & Force relationships with the Intent of training for Survival ... not for competitive and/or entertainment purposes. Joints Locks & Take Downs are just a few of the varied tools available to Martial Artists and do work under Ideal Conditions.

  • A diverse adept knows how, when, and why these tools work along with their limitations. Train with weapons against multiple attackers in all environments where rules of engagement do not exist ... Dr. Christopher M. Viggiano - Shifu/Shihan

  • Applevinnie, thank you.

  • MMA fights mostly puts emphasis on takedowns and submissions. When MMA fighters fight, they are already in the fighting stance. I.e. The fighter knows that objective of the objective of the other is to knock him out or submit him. This video shows situational instances where the person is not always ready to fight. I.e suprise situations, control situations etc. I find these techniques useful and relevant to real world situations

  • Thanks for the Video i loved it, have more of that please

  • Very nice where do you train? What it sword stick society?

  • Thank you for your interest in SSSI ...

The SSSI Motto ... "It is not the Style, but the Person ... that makes all the difference."
