@chefamin Solitary bees do not produce honey. They collect pollen and nectar for their own individual nesting tubes, where they lay single eggs. They do not store nectar to make honey. They do not over winter. when the season closes around July in the UK for some bees, and later for leaf cutter bees, so they do not need to store food for that purpose.Solitary bees do not have a colony as honeybees do, therefore there are no Queens.The males emerge earliest and wait to mate with females. :)
