Cause it's turbo'd, FI cars always make a ton with chip tuning.

thats what the BSR or MTE chips do. The T5 is already a very fast car waiting to be unleashed.

The E46 M3 Cabrio puts out 343bhp and 365nm and the weight is1730kg

FWD generally has 11-13% of drive train losses and the RWD about 13-15%

S60 T5 = 325bhp 12% gives 286bhp on the wheels.

Dividing 286bhp with 1560kg gives 0.183bhp/kg or 5.45kg/bhp

E46 M3 Cabrio = 343bhp -14% gives 295bhp on the wheels

Dividing 295bhp with 1730kg gives 0.171bhp/kg or 5.86kg/bhp

Moabohed, your vids are just awesome! Another proof of the brutal but smooth strength of the S60 T5 (w/ slight mods). But what I love the most: those S60s look sooo underrated. Keep the vids coming!!!

My friend also has a 2005 s60 t5, he got 319bhp just with an ECU upgrade and around 380bhp with the ECU upgrade + other fuel injectors, he whipped a E39 M5 with his car. They're really nice those new t5:s.

Just an ECU upgrade (uploaded new software using the diagnostic port in the car, connected to a computer).

I paid about 470$ for the upgrade.

In the interval 100-200 I am faster than an 540i and equal to an 545i...(i think) :/

I have raced 540i several times and never lost...

I am faster than an E46 M3 Cabrio and a little bit slower than an E46 M3 Coupé.
