Look, it costs more money to kill someone then to put them away for life, so its not cost effective. Moreover, this isn't a deterrent for other Islamic terrorists because they tend to kill themselves in the terrorist attack anyway.

So why would one think that the death penalty would be a fitting punishment for this situation?
