  • Wait.... KAZOOIE'S A GIRL???????? I THOUGHT SHE WAS A BOY FOR THE LONGEST TIME!!!!!

  • i used to play banjo-kazooie but then i took an arrow to the knee

  • @NotThisGuyAgain no...just no

  • This is the BEST of the Banjo Kazooie Series!

  • my fav game EVER

  • @sonikdude49 one of the best

  • 9:35 I luaghed for 5 hours just thinking of that clip.

  • I still have a N64 should i get this?

  • @cjszero01 rare and nintendo are thinking of making this for 3ds hope it will happen but theres a doubt that in my head they might not

  • @Majoraswrath3000 Hell yes

  • @Majoraswrath3000 I did.

  • Really good review, I agreed with everything you said, good and bad! I NEVER knew you could kill snacker! LOL

  • XD lucky my brother has a very old N64

  • Could you actually collect the "Stop N Swop"? If you can I have no clue how, but then i'll have fun trying to figure it out

  • @falloutboy97100 You can collect them, but there's nothing you can do with them. You'll have to look up the codes on how to get them.

  • @cjszero01 alright, thank you =)

  • @cjszero01 Cause of you i'm playing it again !! The music is sooo great i put it on my mp3 player !!

  • i might get this game

  • Dang. I wish I grew up with games like this.

  • Thank you!!! I never heard of this game and its because of this review I bought it and am having a great time and I'm 17!

  • Haha my first game ever I love this game so much, but it had managed to traumatize me when I was younger. I made it all the way to the end of the game, but that EVIL board game would always beat me... Needless to say I beat the crap out of now >:)

  • @uzimakishadow No I agree. The skull in Tooie seemed more round while this one looked more jagged.

  • I think that the 3ds version is the same as the wii u version but portable. So banjo can't b in 3ds version because it's ten same as the one for wii u

  • @Mariokemon Was that even english?

  • @cjszero01 i was typing on an ipad so it was awcward to type. what i was trying to say was a reply to the comment about banjo and kazooie being in the 3DS smash 4.

  • Dk 64 anybody?

  • @NintenToast12 Sadly I don't see that happening. :(

  • Banjo Kazooie was the first game i've ever beaten, it would have been dk64 but the arcade kept me from beating it. Oh and another thing, YOU CAN KILL THAT STUPID SHARK.

  • this might be the best review i've ever seen in my life!

  • i been playing this game for long time and only finished it 100% few weeks ago. i could get alll notes all jiggys all honey combs, open all short cuts finish all secret puzzles in banjos house. but could never defeat grunty but with a bit patients did itn got the achievement. peace

  • this review actulaly is the only reason i even tried banjo kazooie and im sorry to those of you who dont like language but there is only one way to say this i played the hell out of that game it was great i played on xbla but it was still the same game and the graphics made it much easier to play because it was transitioned into hd.

  • Also I added you to my goldeneye 007 friendlist for the wii but it always says i have no friends. Did you not add me.

  • I have a few questions

    1. What is a redo review

    2. would you have bought this game if it was a rpg because it was orginally going to be an rpg.

    3. If they remade this game for the 3ds would you by it because it could happen because Rare still makes games for nintendos portable console like diddy kong ds.

4.have you played any of the portable banjo kazooie game for the gameboy advance.

  • @mariogamefreak1 1.) It's when I redo a review for a game I've already reviewed but make it better.

2.) Not sure, depends on what it looked like.

3.) Please see my Forbidden Fruit 6 video.

    4.) No I haven't

5.) Have you sent me your code before for Goldeneye Wii?

  • @cjszero01 yes

  • @cjszero01 yes but here is my friend code anyway so add me 2217-2373-3174

  • @cjszero01 Can you do a Time To Play: Banjo - Kazooie

  • @SNESGuy16 Currently? No.

  • if you collect all 100 music notes and then leave the world, will the music notes respawn again?

  • @StrawberryPirate2000 Yes but you don't have to collect them again.

  • @cjszero01 Thanks :)

  • I heard the ice key unlocks a secret world but im not sure if its true. aparently if u find the ice key u have 2 find a 4th cheato and during the dialog grunty sayd "damn you book" and cheato tells you to type in a cheat thts called "keyhole". it opens a hole in the cub's house in Freezeezy Peak and u can enter a new world in it. its just deformed lol.

  • @Superyoshibroswii And fake.

  • u should do a lets play of this game

  • @musculermigit I tried... it was too boring to even try to upload.

  • You know what I don't like? Some of the moves from this game are COMPLETELY neglected in the sequel, like the Wading Boots, the egg pooping, the Z-B attack (forget what it's called, think it's "Beak Barge"). In Tooie, I used the Flying charge to help get around in the air faster, but it's otherwise useless thanks to the grenade eggs.

  • I can´t find this game on viritual console

  • @StrawberryPirate2000 That's because it's not, I was playing and recording this off of my N64.

  • Comment removed

  • 0:39 the gameboy Banjo was holding might have been one of those "big" models that's as big as a regular human's hand. I honestly don't know why Tetris is "addicting to some people."

  • Psst. Divebombing the snowmen earns you 2 jiggies.

  • I bought a 360 for the soul purpose of reliving this series.

  • have you ever play ty the tasmanion tiger ?

  • @jboy1708 I have not.

  • @cjszero01 anyone who's played the XBLA version, notice that when Grunty kidnaps Tooty that the bashing sounds aren't heard outside the window like in the 64 version?

  • @jboy1708

I have, it really does seem to make a good substitute at the time for BK in my opinion, though I still like BK better, ty is still awesome.

  • @jboy1708 Yeah, Its Awesome i own it 4 PS2, The music kicks Ass! XD

  • Every one knows that banjo is smarter than the average bear.

  • Ok, from what I know, the stop 'n' swap had been sugested to use the DD drive add on to the N64 that was only released in japan, it however has been included into the X-box verson

  • I think the stop and swaps are now used for banjo nuts and bolts.

  • "Out of the Sea it Rises to reveal more secret prizes" not surprises.

Great review. I was just pointing out a mistake.

  • I feel like an idiot. I never knew Snacker could be killed.

    By the way, great review!

  • i do believe that at 8:44-8:54 is supposed to be symbolic of the time of the glitch. clever (if that wasn't your intention then well it looks like symbolism.)

  • @GamerLink5 That actually was supposed to resmeble that. So far your the only one who noticed that.

  • It's very similar to Super Mario 64 because the game's engine has been described as the "modified Super Mario 64 engine".

  • I can't believe that you didn't overlook the "fuuuuuuuuuuuck yooooooooooou" pots. XD

  • @immunitytothedark I put them in the review but they only say that if you think that's what they say, but you knew that already didn't you. XD

  • @cjszero01 pretty much =P

I watched thumbsupmaster's rated-e? video and he said they could be interpreted as that, "thank you", or "ah cool". I seriously don't get how he got the other two though, much less anyone else.

  • @immunitytothedark Try saying "Thank you" with a tranyslvania accent.

  • @immunitytothedark It sounded like that but it was thank you.

  • Is kazooie a girl?

  • @futurebrick22 Yes.

  • Ever play Gunstar Heroes?

It had a multiplayer board game style level in it where you take it in turns to go round the board and just do various things. Pretty awesome.

  • @Iloveminieggs I have, not what I was going for but you get the idea.

  • As this was one of the first games to grace my presence, its hard to not think of anything but good memories with it. It was even arguably better than Mario 64. To bad this game was overshadowed by an even better game that same year. Yes: Ocarina of Time. Regardless, I wouldn't mind re-purchasing an N64 just to relive good memories.

  • @soranamineforever Yeah it's a shame but it did help make 1998 one of the best years in video games, IMO.

  • @cjszero01

Well yeah, '98 was one of the strongest years in video gaming. You had OoT, Sonic Adventure, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VII, and Pokemon Red, Blue, and yellow, all of which are considered some of the greatest games of that or any other generation. Regardless, Banjo-Kazooie is a worthy title to be among those greats.

  • @soranamineforever Well to be accurate Sonic Adventure was out in Japan only but that still counts and Pokemon Yellow I believe came out in 1999 but I could be mistaken, regardless I agree with that statement.

  • This is the best review for this game i have seen on the net!

  • P.S. Hav you ever played conkers bad fur day

  • Nope, sorry.

  • do you think mario and banjo kazooie at the olympic games would be cool cjszero?

  • I'd rather see a real crossover.

  • so it isnt a good idea?

  • What would you rather see? minigames or a platforming crossover?

  • platforming crossover, yeah my idea is pretty stupid.

  • Did you get my question from the regular review of banjo kazooie cjszero?

  • Whenever it's ready and the time is right, that's all I have to say.

  • ok ill be waiting!

  • thanks for that, not only is the review awesome, but I've completed my theory on stop and swap, so now I can finish the video (I'm doing a stop and swap my theory video) Thanks for the help and I'll give you a shout out

  • This is the best game ever... It's stolen so many hours of my life. I played this so much as a kid and together with my dad managed to beat the game. I have to go back and beat it again. I started over the summer but kinda got distracted on other games.

Great review though, and thanks for showing the egg secret. I never even knew about it. All I remember was worring about a sequel for a long time until I actually got it (and turned out to be awesome). Great job.

  • Thank you. :)

  • r u gonna review banjo-tooie

  • I really love Banjo-Kazooie. Even though I like Banjo-Tooie better, for some reason I've played Banjo-Kazooie more times. Last time I played it, I got almost all of the notes in the entire game. If you get enough notes, you can open up some egg and feather refill stations before the final boss, and there's even a spot where you can spend 4 Jiggies to double your maximum health. It's truly a good treat for all of that trouble.

  • glad you like it though I didn't much care for it. Have you tried banjo-tooie?

  • this game was as much in your dream then it was in mine

  • Ah Rare, they used to make such great games they followed you to your dreams. XD

  • I knoooow!!! and no i didn't run out of air... I fell and landed on the fish from up high and lost a lot of health, and then I was being stupid and I hit one of those monsters that pops out of the tubes in the wall and died. And I was like "AHHHHH!!!" and i turned it off and replaced it with zelda in anger lol

  • I love this game so much. I actually picked it up again a few days ago, played through the first three levels. I got all ten jiggies in clankers cavern, and 96 notes. and then i died. NINETY SIX!!!!!!!! AARRRRRGGGG!!!!!! lol

  • Did you run out of air? Dying before getting all of the music notes sucks!

  • No but it should be, even though Microsoft owns them Rare has gone on record saying it is up to Nintendo since they have some rights to the N64 version. Now if only Nintendo would take requests for the virtual console. :(

  • hey dude i just finished my banjo kazooie xbla review still needs to render though

  • It failed to render huh?

  • no i just use an internal capture card and the only pc i have is slow so it takes awhile to render plus i decided to try and add a bit more to the review should have it up today followed soon by tooie and then nuts and bolts

  • to tell you the truth i had nightmares of a banjo-kazooie character too. Not snacker but that giant mechanic fish he made me stop playing banjo-kazooie for almost 3 months

  • The stupids don't know that Banjo's sister is Tooty.

  • Great re-review, Man I love this game but theres a problem with my copy that will randomly ERASE MY DATA, WTF!?

  • Man. I have always wanted to see you review Banjo-Tooie... I have this game, and its awesome... but Banjo-Tooie is pretty awesome too.

  • yea i herd os stop n swap, Screwattacks VGV had more info on it

  • They did but when they said that "Nintendo wasn't too big on people ripping cartridges out of their systems." Nintendo didn't say that or forced Rare to stop their plans. Rare cancelled it because it would limit the number of peolpe who had the new 1999 model of the N64 who then wouldn't have enough time to Swop games.

  • For 6000 notes I can pay Bottles to tell me the truth about Stop 'n' Swop.

Or so Rare seem to be trying to get me to play to find 6000 Musical Notes for.

I will win races by stopping my opponent, fly using a boxing glove for propulsion, heck I'll even beat the Jinjo Sumo challenges by using a giant pool cue.

I have way too much spare time. -_-

  • Thanks to hackers we know what he will say. He says something like: "I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you, and we can't have that in a game like this can we? Now try to enjoy the game with these happy thoughts in your head" or something like that.

  • So I don't need to complete 60 levels collecting every single note?

It looks like Rare messed up, like Ubisoft did Assassin's Creed's ending, aparantly someone at Ubisoft had the whole explaination for AC's ending on their computer, but someone deleted it and they decided to go with fan speculation, Rare seem all too happy to leave it unexplained so their fans aren't disappointed.

I mean if you found out it was to unlock a gallery, you'd be very annoyed wouldn't you?

  • I got a question do you use Windows Movie Maker? if So how do you do your split screen tricks. like you used at 0:49?

  • I stopped using it over a year ago, but it does have fade away tricks. Try looking up fades, wipe outs, or cuts.

  • Oh split screen, I don't know how to do that in Windows Movie Maker.

  • that was a deep review 0-0

  • I had to do my best to make sure it wasn't the same as the first one, so I put in as much detail as I could find.

  • Haha 0:36 . Great review :D.

  • Thanks. :)

  • The N64's Controller Pak memory card would've worked?

This is where I reference Dragonball Z Abridged: "Damn you, hindsight! "

  • I'm just saying why didn't they have that as a back-up?

  • @cjszero01

Then again, now that I think about it, the memory card was pretty much dead by the time BK came out. You know, underusage. Only it ever did was save best times for racing games like Wave Race 64 and Mario Kart 64.

  • It was pretty much dead, but that doesn't mean they couldn't have used it to show it's worth something.

  • I've been thinking about getting this game, and now I wants it more! it looks a lot like DK64 though...

  • great jokes dude. I got this game after Banjo Tooie was released. After I finished Banjo Kazooie I got Banjo Tooie so I could find out about Stop And Swap. Although I found 2 of the 6 eggs in banjo tooie and the Ice Key. In Banjo Kazooie I got all 6 eggs and ice key. Also the game never froze on me ever.

  • Thanks, that was the only time it froze on me but it did prove to me the memory glitch in the N64's RAM.

  • Thanks for the nostalgia, cjszero01.

This is definitely your best review, and it shows. You actually made me wanna go back and play through kazooie and tooie!

  • Thanks. :) If I can make people want to go back and replay good games again then I've done my job.

  • Hi there

Great re-review on Banjo-Kazooie ^^ Still wish I had Banjo-Tooie... But still, a awesome vid review ^^ Just wondering what other game u'll be reviewing next

    Euan

  • Multiplaying fun and the ability to replay certain events were added into Banjo Tooie!

But yeah, Banjo-Kazooie is absolutely amazing!

  • Hey guess what?

I noticed the personal faults, amazing huh?

I have Nuts and Bolts for the 360 and am stuck on the first world because... Because I can't stop screwing around for the heck of it.

There are these giant cogs you can ride up to the top of the level, I just keep riding them and trying to climb the volcano.

  • could you reveiw bomber man hero?

  • Sorry, don't have it.

  • darn lol just asking XD

  • I have this game, the sad thing is though that I haven`t even played past the first world.

But now looking at all of the fun gameplay I`ve missed out on,I feel kinda dirty inside. :(

  • What happened? Don't tell me the first world was too hard for you to beat.

  • Your first review made me buy the game, this review makes me want to 100% complete it now :)

Perfect review again hun <3 Simply amazing.

Hm, I still think that Banjo Kazooie is still abit "shadowed" compared to Super Mario 64. It deserves abit more attention.

I bought my version off Ebay and I haven't had so much fun in along time on my N64.

  • Thank you. :) Watching my MW's of this game will help you earn a 100%.

  • I just cannot stand the idea of this not been on the Wii Virtual Console. I just will not have the oportunity to play it and emulators just dont do the job right. Nice job with the review cjzero1! :)

  • I agree it should be on the VC. Thank you. :)

  • you know u cold just use the bluetooth in ur computer and use the wii mote as a controller i can say it does not make the game any less fun and ive played this game on everything my xbox pc mac n64 hell even my psp(don't play it on psp)

  • Snacker once haunted my dreams as well...

    That's... coincidental.

But either way, I feel like playing this again.

I liked the first one better than the second for some reason.

Ah, well. Fantastic review as per usual. ^^

  • Thank you. :)

  • ur best review ever it was better put together than most sites are. better than ign's review for sure

  • Thanks, the real challenge was trying to make this review as different and better than my first one.

  • great review dude, once again I have to think about saving $X for a N64 but thats another story

  • When you finally get enough it will be well worth it. :)
