Jean Rollin's underrated masterpiece filled with great mood and haunting atmosphere. Terrific music score blends perfectly well with this unique horror film. In my opinion, the story is a cross between the works of Charlotte Bronte and Edgar Allan Poe. Highly recommended! Thank you for this posting blackxmas999.
what a great movie! the music really helped to set it apart among other things. definitely a change from what most people think of when talking about early 1970s "horror" flicks!
it's about a couple who goes to a cemetery for some "alone" time and end up getting locked in for the night. they then go through the night experiencing different things, both real and imagined. from what i remember of the ending, the guy gets locked in a tomb by his girlfriend. hope this helps!

Beautiful. That shot of the train is so lovely I could faint. I must be getting a touch of Stendhal Syndrome.
