Hmm, that's a thought! It seems to have worked. People don't bother checking to see which people Christ acknowledges as His own. They assume (unscientifically) that if a person says "I'm a Christian!", then that person IS a Christian. That's like buying a fake college degree online and saying "I'm a DOCTOR!" There are ways to find out who is lying in each case. Doctors are people with accredited medical degrees. Christians are OBEDIENT to Christ --tyrants and despots are NOT.

The Bible DOES say that!! The #1 rule is to love others as yourself -- i.e. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. It also says that this law is "written on our hearts". I did read the whole Bible, every page as a matter of fact I was so horrified by what I was reading, I couldn't put it down. It took a few days to read, the paper is thin you know and LOTS of pages. When I was finished, I was TOTALLY disgusted! I had nightmares about the horrors that I saw there.
I remember that the saying was in Luke or Romans and it was more like love your neighbor than the do unto others that I use, but you get the idea.

Because god the father is just a spiritual will. And the son is the mouth - the word - of god. He is the representative of the father in the congregation. Jesus is the face of the father. he is the word and physical representation of god.

The Quran does talk of the oneness of God, however, it does not mention the trinity (which ofcourse was made up by man) and nor does the bible. The Bible in many ways does explain that God is one, Jesus himself is named a 'son of man' not that of God.

The son of man is the title given to jesus for being the champion of those born of mankind. Jesus added to that that there are non born out of man who are greater than john baptist (living holy life), but the least in heaven will be bigger than john.. Meaning john was still a sinner and that is why he died.. But jesus was not a sinner. And thus the champion of man.. "Son of mankind"...
That title does not mean he was born of a human father, he was conceived by god....

A son of a man is a man. The description "Son of Man" was a Messianic title. Jesus is the one who was given dominion and glory and a kingdom. When Jesus used this phrase related to Himself, He was assigning the Son of Man prophecy to Himself. The Jews of that era would have been intimately familiar with the phrase and to whom it referred. He was proclaiming Himself as the Messiah.

No, no, sarcasm is not my intent. The Bible (Torah + New covenant) clearly show that God has chosen to show himself in 3 different ways. It doesn't mean He is 3 different Gods! "Son of Man" is a title by which Christ called Himself (see the comment by chriss179, below). Christ came to literally *rescue*mankind.
You are correct that the Bible says "The Lord our God is ONE God"! "Elohim" is the original word in that verse...and (check it out)..."Elohim" is *plural*!

If the Torah said such things, then Jews would have believed in the same thing. If the Bible mentions no 'trinity' it however say that God is in three persons but this was added by man. Christ never said that he was God, the Council of Nicea only issued this, before that Christians belived him to be a prophet. The many contradictions in the bible make it no longer DIVINE- as God's words have been corrupted by the Roman Catholic Church and again over the centuries.

To make things short for you. there are almost 25000 early manuscripts preserved (not just the codex vaticanus - inside the vaticans basement) and more than that 86000 early church letters which hold all but 12 verses of the bible. So you could recreate the entire bible from scratch if you burn ever bible and manuscript from letters from 150-200ad.

Yes, 25000 manuscripts and 86000 letters tell more than 1 forged manuscript found by islamic so called scientists. These numbers are so humungous that every manuscript in history is surpassed by a ten fold in authority to the new testament.
