P.S. The reason I keep samples a secret is because the artist (when the government finds out he took a sample from another song) will have to remove and destroy the song because the sample wasn't purchased - a lot of indie producers don't list samples for that reason and hide them very well by speeding up, messing with pitch, etc... so they can't be found out. So, there's your reason why.
