  • Wait. I don't get it. You want to study contemporary literature, philosophy, etc. and even though there's not a single person interested in what you have to say, and it doesn't bring to quality of my or anyone else's life, you should be given a chance to study at universities out of other people's taxes? Well, excuse me, but I'm not paying that.

  • @DjuraHedonism Yes you are, your taxes are paying every single last marketing and financial and accounting program. Oh the majestical quality of life that has brought to the world.

  • @AMN3SiAc20 I'm not really sure that you understood my comment. :)

  • @DjuraHedonism I thought i was pretty clear. You said you are not paying for something that "doesn't bring to quality of my or anyone else's life" as you eloquently said. But at the same time your taxes are paying for all the "normal" studies like marketing, venture capital, accounting and finance and all the rest that, i guess for you, bring quality to our lives. I would give a chance to that. Plus noone is studying in a university with "other people's taxes", we all do.

  • @AMN3SiAc20 It doesn't really matter if it brings to quality of my life. I shouldn't pay for other people to have proper education. The sole exception would be if I owned a company, and was headhunting some prosperous students.

Taking money for me so some kid could get a diploma (regardless of his field) is, in my opinion, thievery.

    Everything clear now? :)

  • @DjuraHedonism Everything but the reason you watched this video. Cheers, got some tax payers money to put in use now; exams coming up. (Joke ofc, i'm paying for it.)

  • @AMN3SiAc20 Never heard of the phrase "get to know your enemy"? :)

    Good luck with the exams!

  • @DjuraHedonism Of course, i'm a dialectic materialist ;) Thanx!

  • A transcript would be nice. I have trouble understanding Badiou.

  • "By combining construction of thought which are always global or universal, and political experimentation which are local or singular but universally transmissible we must assure the existence of the communist hypothesis in consciences and situations. That is what we can do and it is also what we must do." Do you have the transcript of the talk? Also, the part six finish quite abruptly, will you upload the rest? Thanks for Uploading, it would be nice to have it in Europe also.
