  • thanks man very helpfull tutorial

  • 00:43 auto name children? wow

  • I just started using FL studio and wanted to record my guitar and this helped me 100 % Thanks.

  • Hi!, nice video; see my problem is this, i have a keyboard YAMAHA PSR E-413, this model works as a control MIDI with fl studio in any version, but my question is, can i use the real sounds of my keyboard and record them on fl studio, like in this case your guitar? in case it does, please help me and tell me how could i do this.. thanks have a great day!! greetings from mexico!

  • @angiesuricata yep of course, just plug hearphone output of you keyboard at same way asyou guitar

  • Hey, great tutorial but i only have one problem: When i start recording my guitar i don't hear the beat.

    How can i fix this?

  • Question: I have stealthplug, but i can't make it work on fl studio... i followed your instructions, but i strum my guitar and fl studio receives no sound at all... what do i do? thanks! (nice video, by the way!)

  • will these impulses work with reaper? please someone help.

  • how do you get that rock sound? when i record with my acoustic i get acoustic sound :(

  • No it's a new cable!

  • I connected my guitar via line in , but I can't hear anything except a buzzing noise :@

    what shall I do?

    pleaaaaaaaaaaaaseeeee help meeee !!! :P

  • @rockabillis15 maybe the trouble should be in the wire you use

  • @rockabillis15 if you connect your guitar via a line in it will give a buzzing noise, since normal computer ins are not meant for a high quality 24bit or 32 bit recording. To get rid of that noise, you must invest in some better equipment, like a mixer, or a recording interface, kinda like a line6 toneport, and you can get what you hear on your amp onto your computer, its that good! Hope it helps :)

  • @rockabillis15 Check your recording settings on your compter. Right click the volume and click recording devices. Check all that out first.

  • Latency Compensation is a piece of shit :D

  • You look like adam sandler :P

  • THIS WAS AWESOME! Can you tell us your presets for your guitar? :o

  • i ask you another thing, when i record a guitar it goes on the pattern ( because i choose that ) but when i play the entire song it does a strange thing, it stretches with the song and is hard to keep it syncronized with the mix! Why does it happen? Thx

  • First of all thanks for your perfect explanation! But i want to ask something, i have a pod xt live, can i use it for recording or i have to buy the USB recorder that u show? Thx

  • @Bucketfun85 the pod xt live should be good too ;-)

  • @bgelais Yeah i think i get it! Now i think i can do some better quality songs! I need to learn some tricks to mix the guitar with the backing track ( to balance the sound ) but at least now i know that i'm on the right way! Thanks again! ;)

  • great technique bro! thank you for the ADS instant music, and the purge unused track tip.they are both very useful.

  • Thanks, very helpful.

  • Thanks dude, you do a great job :)

  • @melonbandit and pleasure for all.. ^^

  • every time I record a track w/ my guitar, the volume fluctuates extremely when being recorded, leaving me extremely frustrated. any advice?

  • @ItMightBeAChicken have you tried a fruity compressor at master track?

  • @bgelais

So I should just go to the master track and add a fruity compressor?

  • @ItMightBeAChicken

Yeah, Just play around with the compressor settings till you get it right

  • @coppoman1

    sweet! thanks!

  • Great demo, thanks very much man!

Burst out laughing when you said " Latency compensation is a piece of shit" haha.

    Thanks again man.

  • great tutorial man, please could you tell me > what is the VST plug ins your using to get that really nice dirty guitar sound??

  • I have the Line 6 guitar Port... Can I still use this with that? Or would I need to buy something else to plug my guitar in to my PC?

  • @Abyssvx that's ok :-)

  • Thank you for this tut.

  • Hey i have a problem, i finally figured out how to record it but when i have recorded something and i want to let it play, i see that its playing but i dont hear anything, i tried headphones but that didnt work, some one help pls!

  • @MforceArts

On the master track at the bottom there should say out. Pick which one gets you sound. (Oh, and you need headphones with asio)

  • hey i have some questions , when you record , are you using guitar into that codec ? and the codec with fl studio ?

  • @bgelais so you don't need to go to a studio to record :D , and how much costs that audio codec ?

  • @TheButterflyAutopsy around 30-40$

  • hey dude nice ! how do u add the distortion !?!? from the amp or from the same program ?

  • dude you rock!

  • ''Latency compensation is a piece of shit...'' lol

  • This video seriously helped me make a much better quality recording! Thank you!!

  • 2 questions : 1: what drum plugin do you use ?

2: if i record and the ndrag and drop the same audio clip so they come after each other like in an intro , it sounds as if there was a pause? is it my fault not playing in the right rhythm?

plz answer :D nice vids btw

  • this sounds spot on, and the copy paste way of recording is a favourite for ulrich. great demo and excellent sounds

  • this is really helpful, thanks a lot! i was killing my head trying to figure it out by myself ^^

  • what is the white box you plug your guitar into? What is it used for?

  • @bEfkake to plug your guitar into your pc , because a normal guitar kable won´t fit in any pc ^^

  • If you start up FL studio, were do you click to get to this record page?

  • you sound drunk, lol

  • wow niice tutorial one of the best on YT about fl studio! ^^

a little tip: get addictive drums! this is the best drum vst in the web ^^

  • nice job!!!

  • Are you gonna make the others metallica tones using the revolutionz amp?

  • @demerda Of course ;-)

  • You videos are awesome man! You explain them really well.

Please, don't stop making videos 8)

  • @demerda i will dont stop making video, dont worry ;-)

  • Thats great Bro thanks but when i try to do drums its swounds like the guitar in diff key i dont know what im doing wrong but it also make guitar lounder then when there3 are no drumz its back to the original sound i dont know but thanks for this vid

  • @Aruroot ok FPC as some drums who's routed output to some mixer tracks by default....example Snare are routed to mixer track 2 Bass drum Mixer track 1 that mean maybe the snare go to your mixer track where your guitar rigg are made!....all you have to do is to fix all drums pads to -- nul to main master mixer track output

  • "to make appear" - I hear French :D just kidding. Cool video, dude.

  • Very cool tips!
