Thats the noise of the Dyno's cylinders spinning under the wheels. The tops out somewhere around 200mph ao imagine how fast those metal cylinders are spinning and thats why you hear that sound. However, if you listen to a car with a full racing transmission (eg, CLK GTR) you would hear this jet-like sound that is the "whine" of the racing transmission.

But back when I spent a couple of years in Dubai I used to see a Diablo everyday. Also sir, theres theres something to be said about suspension, Which is a good chunk of the cost of such an exotic car. You can have all the power you want but if you cant turn without having to slow way down then it's just a drag racer. No offence to your or your rockin evo but i'm willing to bet the lamborghini could make it around any track in north america faster than your evo.

Similarly a few tests and demonstrations, by any given tester, doesnt make them necessarily true or concrete. it's true price doesnt necessarily mean quality, but it's a great indicator. i'm tellin ya it's not about the horses, it's about how many Gs you can pull at 100Mph,or 30 or 50 or whatever, you get the point.
