LOOK AT THE CARNAGE!! lol, thanks for the upload, theres a certain satisfaction in destroying things, then bringing them back to life. I did this to a D8 transmission this summer. The sheared teeth falling out were the size of my finger!

I had an 82 Honda CVCC wagon with around 200k on it whose trans main bearing lost 3 of the balls in it's raceway and yet you never never knew it when driving, only discovered it when I tore it down and saw 3 balls missing, never did find them and they had to have been that way for many miles.

Even stock wrx trannys suck, with 300hp you must upgrade , i bought wrecked sti and swapped trans, axels, and rear, seems to work so far

i've launched my 02 wrx more times than i could ever begin to count and i bang the shit out of the gears and have never had a single problem with the transmission. my clutch is slipping now, but i have no problems with the trans.

@gc8u Dont replace the clutch with a heavy duty one or a ceramic button plate or your box will end up the same. STi 6 speed box is the go, very very strong.

This makes me really shiver a little considering Im running a green @15psi ewg on my stock gearbox at 97k. Only reason why I think its still holding is because I never drag it and the motul300 fluid.

damn...what kind of launch did you do??? I'm pushing the same power with a EWG VF39 on 22 lbs. I don't clutch dump though, not safe even stock.

@huntah2k Thats what I have and I love it.. never launched the car yet but it definetly holds power very well, even the engagement of each gear feels stronger

yes lol it was launched and then there was a loud ass BANG and the tranny locked up. couldnt even push the car with it in neutral and with clutch in.

@huntah2k The WRX tranny is weak.. At around 350hp they will break pretty easy if you drag it hard alot..Normal driving its ok etc or roll is not as bad..

Kinda sucks I know I have a 04 wrx as well as my MS6..
